I usually do all my gaming in Windows XP but I was having really annoying stuttering during many cutscenes so I decided to boot to Windows 7 and try it there where I had other success when having sound issues in a few other games, mostly the Conan online game and a couple of other rubbish titles.
However, I quickly discovered that although Dragon Age runs fine under Win7 and I was logged in with my registered account, when I tried to load the save game where I was experiencing the most stuttering, I was getting a message about this save game requiring downloadable content. I have the Collector's Edition and had installed the downloadable content but when I go to the Installed tab, the Collector's Edition is now shwoing as Unauthorised, even though I'm logged in with the same account I used to register my game and download the content.
It should be irrelavent what operating system I choose to run the game on a dual-boot system. All I want to do is get rid of this lame stuttering in most of the cutscenes. All of my other games inlcuding GTA IV, Batman Arkham Asylum, Mass Effect, Fallout 3, Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising, and Bioshock are having this stutter problem and many of them need higher specs than what DA suggests.
I also have the latest audio and video drivers for my GeForce 9800GX2 and X-Fi XtremeGamer audio card. Seeing as all my other games work fine it's hardly a driver issue though.
So why is this stuttering happening only in DA and why is my downloadable content showing as Unauthorised when I'm logged in with the account I have registered?

I'm not having the stuttering problem but I'm getting the message about requiring downloadable content and if i get back out and restart the game the message goes away. This means I have to start the game, back out, then start again every time I want to play and it's annoying as h****!
