dunno if i just missed this or what, have beaten ME2 more than 5 times now up to hardcore difficulty and have seen a few posts referencing the "Geth Pulse Rifle." is this found somewhere later on in the insanity difficulty? i'm only about 10% into my insanity playthru, which would explain me having not found this item yet. thanks for your help.

The Geth Pulse Rifle can be found at the end of Tali's recruitment mission on Hardcore and Insanity difficulties. Look for it in the same room that you find Tali in. Very hard to miss.

You get the Geth Pulse Rifle during the Tali recruitment mission in hardcore difficulty and up. I think I found it near the Collosus on the right side of the door, if my memory serves me correctly.

You get it from the mission that recruits Tali.

People have been reporting that if you switch the difficulty before you begin Tali's recruitment mission and stick with it, the Geth Pulse Rifle will be there for the taking. Then you can switch the difficulty lower afterwards. It's possible this could get patched so take that how you will.

I'll vouch for the GPR as an adept. That thing carried me through most of the game. (Its bad against armor so I switched it out for husk missions and the last area.)



With maxed warp ammo, it cut through shields and barriers like they were made of butter.

Like what the other posters have said, its right at the end of Tali's recruitment mission in the same room as her.



Gotta say, the rifle is pretty baller when it comes to shredding enemy shields. Not so hot against everything else though.

You can get it without having played the whole game on hardcore+. I got it on my first soldier playthrough (which was mostly on normal) by setting the difficulty on hardcore before I landed on Haestrom.
