[Mo the Hawk]

After choosing "Import ME2 character" and starting a new game, the game always freezes up at the screen where the x-ray of your skull is on the right side of the screen with the tiny "Loading" message in the bottom right.

Just tested this twice.  Can play the prologue just fine, and this doesn't happen when starting a brand new ME2 character.  The screen has gone nowhere in the past 15 minutes as we speak.

Any ideas for resolutions?  I'm so close to level 30.

I had this problem as well but i apeared to have fixed it. You must go onto your autosave file the one that is present after you have beat the game, boot that up and then make a manuel save yourself, then when you go to start the game again and import your ME2 character select the manuel save to import, NOT the atuo save as this is what i think causes it to crash. This method has always worked for me as i'm on my 4th playthrough with the same charatcer. hope this helps dude

i must say i'v been looking for a bioware post for a few days, this bug is real and is on every game form you can think of. For me at least its luck of the draw, i have to play that 20min intro just to freeze at the skull with no reason (new charter, ME1 import, ME2 import) they will all do this.



i'm sorry but to go against Vampire it did this the very first time i played the same and every single time afterwords. I found a quick fix that i'm not going to try which is clearing the cache on drive. i also deleted the install disk and see if that works + using Disc 2 only....i'll see, bioware needs to make cut scenes skipable.

Hmmmm I haven't had any problems like that at all. Maybe I'm just lucky lol. But what I do always seems to work for me though

Yeah had this yesterday though not tried a 2nd time yet.

It just happened to me earlier today.

Kept freezing in exact same spot as you.



Fixed it by clearing the cache.



Go to memory section of xbox dashboard, highlight the hard drive then press 'Y'



Select 'Clear system cache'



Select 'Yes'



After doing this load up ME2 again. You will have to redownload the patch but that only takes a couple of seconds. All your saves will be safe.
