I've always wondered what World of Warcraft was like. Maybe I'll try it free for 10 days on my PC while waiting for RtO or Awakining to never come out on my PS3. Maybe and I stress maybe, I"ll come back here in a week or a month, and you'll all still be waiting on this crap. Who knowns W.O.W might become my new favorite game considering D.A. has let me down. At least Blizzard will make some more money.

easy, valk, don't get this thread closed. after all, ensuring there's only one PS3 thread in this forum is a higher priority to bioware than keeping its PS3 user base informed, so we don't want to lose our one thread.

No i saw that. It is one post amongst many posts that have asked clearly, politely and repeatedly to get certain answers. The original post that blamed Sony was deconstructed, and eventually Victor's contradiction was questioned, and his lack of a response to the further questioning, along with the overall lack of communication towards PS3, are what the main and more recurrent complains in the thread are.

Opinions are subjective by default. You can reach an objective conclusion following a logical argument. Starting your post with condescending language and expressing your opinion as fact based on assumptions is fallacious reasoning and diminishes the credibility of anything you write.

I have absolutely no objections with anyone stating their views, so please continue to do so, however I do hope that you can chose your words better in order to avoid misunderstandings, if your intention is not to be on the attack bur rather reach an objective agreement.

I took my time to read what he posted and posted in response, twice. So yes, I read what was posted.

I did not "attempt" to take his "opinion" apart. I simply wrote that being condescending and stating your opinion as fact is fallacious and intellectually dishonest in a logical argument.

That is not my opinion, it is a fact, and you can find more about argumentative fallacies online if you need referencing.

If you find yourself embarassed by your postings, then maybe you are the one who should consider what and when to write. In this instance, your interjection is of no significance to the thread, the subject, or even the back and forth I had with with Amsrtad. You seem to be trying to make something be by virtue of stating it and associating humilliation with it: that is another logical fallacy.

I have not posted any accusations so I will not take a moment to consider them. I appreciate the effort put into the Alley of Murders but that does not mean that I will overlook when someone posts a blatant fallacy in a thread regarding a subject that I do care about.

Your interpretation of my postings as being aggresive (or so I must assume for your "your agression" comment) is most unfortunate. However your inferences are not of my creation.

I haven't forgotten why we are posting. I still want answers to the questions I posted so many pages ago. Just not ready to let people barge in and shout "Sony's fault" at their leisure...

Doubt obviously exists in the community currently about Bioware's standing, and a small offical update saying we have no news would be good to te PS3 community. They did say they were losing money, and didn't like this either, but that still provides no new information on the situation, that couldn't have been inferred previously.

for me its just the lack of support for ps3 users thats annoying, this thread should be stickyed and its not, no updates from bioware or even simply acknowledging that they have no news...that would do.



I just want ps3 users to feel appreciated...and to point it doesnt feel that way...and its something a simple post from bioware would go a long way to rectify

21 Days later....Nothing, so this either tells me we are going through the worlds longest certificate process for 1 hours worth of gaming, OR it failed due to bugs.

BioWare has forum post/thread angst immunity. Your flame spells, talents, skills, persuasiveness, intimidations, etc don’t work in this realm. Much like your character cannot take objects out of the fade; nothing you say here on the RTO subject will openly affect BioWare.

So what do you propose xxSylphxx?

Try something else because this most assuredly is not working.

But what else can we do?

You could write them an e-mail, start a petition, not purchase BioWare products, and/or call BioWare, Sony, and its subsidiaries. You could do many things. Perhaps you have a better idea than any I have mentioned (I think someone here should) in which case you could share it here or in my group. But THIS, posting here with questions, rants, witty remarks, incendiary comments, THIS serves little purpose beyond what self-gratification you take from it.

In fact, I would go so far as to say that THIS is distracting you from doing something more meaningful. THIS gives you a false sense of accomplishment/fulfillment. It’s an opiate that lulls you into pointless action.

I think if I ever become the tyrannical dictator of some impoverished country I will start a forum for them, so they will be lulled into a similar state, as they decry ever foul action/inaction on my part and do little else. I think it would be better than a thousand bodyguards in its ability to insulate me from them and any of the other thousands of better ways they could be interacting with me.  /edit Though I would ensure it was monitored well enough so that posts like this were deleted and the poster apprehended, lest it cease to serve the evil function I would have in mind for it. Surely as this post still remains that cannot be BioWare intentions when making this forum, but it could well be a happy side-effect.
