"Sorry for the delay at this time we can not say much, but we are working on getting you RTO"

But we get nothing. I can't wait for FFXIII and Pokemon Heart gold and Soul Silver at least there are some RPGs that wont disappoint.

Once again there is no RTO. And I thought someone critizing PS3 players said it took two weeks for Sony's certification process. And no news from Bioware either? I'm utterly shocked.

I missed that one. Serriously, a BioWare rep actually openly admitted the PS3 forum is generally ignored? I'm at a loss for words as a response to that one. <shakes head>

This is getting ridiculous. Really makes you think about supporting Bioware on the PS3 from here on out with this absolutely lack of customer service.  I'm actually considering cancelling my preorder for Awakenings at this point, something I thought I would never consider.

BS no 30 min dlc takes this long and if it does that's sad. Btw please buy awakenings and support how BioWait has treated you losers. Really no excuse for this lack of updated info wether good or bad. The awakenings hype machine is going full steam there's no time to update you ps3 players. Don't forget to pre order awakenings and visit the biowait store Ty. If you fools like being treated like red headed stepchilds so be it.

You can't call it crappy support until you test the patch for  yourself.

As much as I am bummed as anyone about no RTO up yet... lets look at it objectively.

RTO was launched, and recalled.   They had to fix it, first on XBOX, then they shift the same QA team to PS3 later, that is weeks of time. If their Validation team is anything like the validation teams I've worked with, they are swamped with work and have a bunch of contract employees who aren't even trained.

Bioware has then announced it *is* coming for the PS3 but they were honest and said there is no date yet.

So we have BW being honest, and telling us there is no date, not what we want to hear, but it is the truth.

There is both a patch and an expansion coming.

yes, that definitely beats Sacred 2 support which was "possible expansion, glad you liked the game!" to "oops we all got laid off and the parent company does not care"

I don't think anyone doubts it's coming to PS3, what is making people mad is their lack of update.  Even if it's just to say 'not this week' would be something.  The only thing they comment on regarding RtO for PS3 is to lock and close new threads asking about it, redirecting them to this topic, and then say nothing else.

@Haexpane - so 'possible' expansion was a definite for you? and because of an economic downturn, that amounts to crappy support (or is it nothing support)? ok, i'll give you that. it's a personal point of view. sacred 2 was a decent game that could have improved with support.



when bioware/ea chose to launch da:o on ALL platforms, they took on a certain responsibility to each platform's users to treat them as equally as possible. in point of fact, they did delay the pc release so that ALL platforms could launch at the same time.



i understand problems with the title updates and/or the dlc. i understand the longer certification time with sony. i don't understand the silence from bioware. i don't understand bioware not taking a few minutes to create a 'ps3 announcement' thread just to make us not feel like the "red-haired stepchild". i do not understand bioware treating their ps3 customers as anything less than their pc or xbox customers. (although from a sales standpoint, they have much less to lose by pissing off their ps3 users, as opposed to pc and xbox users).



i don't know if i'm alone in this, but i feel as if the AWAKENING MARKETING MACHINE is steamrolling ahead with little, or no concern for those that have fallen by the wayside.



and does anyone really believe that bioware would send their work (worth hundreds of manhours and tens of thousands of dollars[at least]) to sony with NO idea, or time frame of when the certification would be completed? ok...

actually i saw on a gaming website (i wish i could remember which one because it gave me quite the chuckle) that awakening was still given the march 16th release date, but rto for the ps3 was given a march 31st release date.

Si habra,  cuando el DLC pase la certificacion de Sony,  que actualmente esta tomando demasiado tiempo.

It's called business. BioWare have passed it onto Sony for certification. Sony are unlikely to provide BioWare with much feedback about the certification process, and even then BioWare employees are probably not allowed to say much (if anything) about the process. It's called a Non-Disclosure Agreement. Business is full of them.



Would I like PS3 gamers to have a copy of RTO? For sure. But complaining about "BioWare's lack of support" and "OMG BIOWARE SUCK" and the comments of that ilk don't do anything. Just as a newsflash to everyone out there, BioWare WANTS their customers to be happy. I doubt anywhere at BioWare is happy that PS3 gamers can't get DA:O, but that doesn't mean they can comment about it. If you're not happy with BioWare, you might not buy their next game, and BioWare DOESN'T want that. Vilifying the company as a whole might be "fun" because you're frustrated, but I can assure you that the developers want you to have RtO just as much (if not more) than you want to have it.
