Just a tip. Focus on your tech shield early on in the game and don't be afraid to get close to enemies. The shield's knock-out wave is pretty darn useful.

Throw: 4
Power Armor:4
Overload:4
Cryo:1
Guardian:4
Reave:4

Reave is the same as Warp except that it makes them go through a pain animation when their defenses are down. Just make sure you have someone with firepower with you (Grunt, Zaeed, Garrus). Miranda helps out as well.

Personally I maxed out shields, cryo and Guardian. I can't tell you how many times the tech shield and the full blast cryo saved my ass when getting swarmed by husks. Great thing that Cryo does is freeze multiple enemies. Added bonus with the husks is they keep trying to move as they freeze so they shatter themselves.

This is quite a good build. I used something similar to it, and I'll point out that bringing Miranda and Zaeed is quite a formidable combination, especially with Miranda as a Cerberus Leader and Zaeed as a Mercenary Warlord. Zaeed - and to an extent, your - damage potential sharply increases due to Cerberus Leader's squad damage boost. Grunt as a Krogan Warlord emulates this to a lesser extent.

In addition, bringing Miranda and Grunt, with Miranda as a Cerberus Tactician (is that it?) and Grunt as a Krogan Pureblood increases squad survivability quite a bit.

Dont forget that you can get Squad Incinderary Ammo  with Grunt; works great against the Collectors. Take Thane or Miranda for Heavy warp and your set against the Collectors. But i your going up against Synthetics (Tali/Legions Loyalty Missions) Zaeeds Squad Disruptor Ammo work sout a whole lot better.

Also you could retrain for each particular mission. Reave works best against organics. But you could get AP Ammo or Shield drain if you go up against Synthetics.

I stick with Reave though.

I like Energy Drain for the later missions, but if your just starting out go with Armor Piercing. It makes the first few level on insanity MUCH easier.

I end up with only 1 point in overload, which might be redundant, but it murders Shielded enemies on the later levels.
