The funniest damn pilot in the universe fighting alongside you? Why not! He can already shoot an assault rifle as demonstrated by the endgame. Besides I'm sure theres something he could do to replace his bones, ITS THE FUTURE!

I think They that Cerberus could easily rebuild him but they just never thought of getting rid of such a good pilot, would be interesting as a end game when all of your squad is dead and he's your only option.

I imagine he'd lend himself for some absolutely hilarious party banter, but I don't see it happening.

Joker serves best behind the tiller. His kill-fu is not strong. As much as I like the character, he's not there to serve in ground combat, even if his bones get fixed with gene treatments or something - he just doesn't have the training to hack it with the kind of people Shepard rolls with.

Well they could give Joker the wolverine treatment and graft titanium or something to all his bones, which would give him the durability of most humans, but the fact remains he has minimal combat training, no bioitic abilities, and engineering skills exclusive to ships.

I'd rather have Joker remain on the ship and watch my back from there, frankly. As for the assault rifle thing, I think most people, even those in "pilot school" would learn how to handle a gun.

Quite possibly the worst idea aside from rebuilding the thorian as a party member.

Mordin could fix his legs, but it would lead to kidney failure.

I did enjoy Zaeed's comments on what Joker did post-endgame. Something about him being impressed but disappointed that Joker didn't "come down here and get a *real* weapon to use".

But nah, leave Joker flying the ship. He's already quasi-squad in that capacity.

Joker is hilarious. I love the guy and I'm glad he's given a bigger role in ME2. But I really don't like the idea of him becoming a squad mate. His condition is incurable. And besides, he isn't a front line fighter, he's a pilot. That's like trying to make a fighter pilot join a special op's team as a weapon specialist.

And of course he knows how to fire a gun, he was in the Alliance, and even if your a pilot, there is always a chance the enemy will board the ship, so they have to at least know how to pull the trigger. Doesn't mean he'll last long in an actual fight though.

Joker as a party-member...I was surprised he could shoot an AR.

I don't think it would be fun to use Unity each time Joker fires his shotgun -.-

I agree; no squad-mate status for Joker. He's saved my ass too many times to count by piloting the Normandy. That said, the more I play the game the more I wouldn't mind romancing him.

Kaidan: "Wait, you slept with Garrus and Joker? How does that even work?"

Shepard: "Better than you'd think."
