I've looked around for an answer & not found one yet, so if someone can forward me to the right area, I'd appreciate it. Otherwise, here's my question (about a question):
I have a question, that is about the storyline, that I'd love to ask, but it's spoiler heavy due to the question & potential answer. Unfortunately, I don't have (for whatever reason) the ability to post either a new topic or reply to anything that that sub-forum. I've only posted a couple times in the past & none were worthy of getting any kind of posting restrictions implimented to my forum account.
Anyone care to help me out here?

Well, I found my old account that I'd registered here instead of my normal one. So, I go about the process of resetting my password (which I'm able) and attempt to login, but now it's wanting to (for whatever reason) to re-setup a profile here, all with forum name, avatar picture, ect, such as I did with this account. No matter what screen name I use, it simply won't let me past the point of "Select Screen Name (check availability), Avatar selection, Sign up for Bioware or EA Newsletters, ect."
Now, mind you, my Global EA Account will "see" my NWN & DA:O being registered to that email address, but this forum refuses to let me log in. But no matter what I do, I cannot get logged in on that account. It's frustrating as heck, to say the least.

Does anyone have any idea as to why I can go to my global EA account, get the option to "Sign in" via the Dragon Age picture/link to the right (thus popping up another sign in window to confirm who I am), then, I'm back to the same problem: Unable to get that account online on these forums so I can post elsewhere with that forum account since it's the registered game email account. Or can I use the same serial number for this one too? (doubtful)

Once you're logged in, it won't let you register your game? When it's worked, you'll have a little DA shield underneath your avatar.
Just to be clear. You're logged in, then you go to profile>register games and enter your game code, and nothing happens? I'm not sure I'm following. =/

I made this account because I couldn't remember the email address I'd originally registered my DA:O & NWN stuff. When I asked the quest as to why I was unable to post in certain forums, I was told I had to register a game to do it.
So, doing some searching, I found the email address I'd used. Plugged in the login name (email address) & reset my password to make sure I knew what it was. Anyways, when I'd originally went to "Forgot my Password" option, it re-directed me the EA site. Once I reset my password, I was able to login through "Global EA Account". In that, I could see my NWN & DA:O games that'd been registered (the icons next to my name on that screen), so, I clicked on that icon & it popped up another login name & password option. I re-entered the very same info I used not 60 seconds beforehand and I'm greeted with the very same newbie "Please enter a forum name & select an avatar to use" but, no matter what I try to do after that, it simply will not let me progress to the next screen. Mind you, I've already registered here & made several posts with that account. I've registered my games to that email account. I can see those games via my EA account screen. But I can use that very same name/password to work here for whatever reason.
