My first character is going to be a warrior tank and I was wondering if dual-weapon sweep can be use if your using a sword and shield?
Talent says "The character sweeps both weapons in a broad forward arc, striking
nearby enemies with one or both weapons and inflicting significantly
more damage than normal."
If it could be used with a sword and shield out, then it seems like it would work well with threaten to hold aggro on mulitple enemies.
Dual-Weapon Sweep?

No, you need two weapons, its a duel wield talent after all. Don't use sweep unless you in melee with several opponents or its not likely to hit. It works great when your sournded though and using it with threaten is a good idea.
