Games have been coming out with special editions that constantly push the envelope of what gamers are willing to pay for. God of War 3 is coming is coming in Pandora's box. BioShock 2 comes in a huge case with items that look like they come from within the game eg little ads for Adam. And of course, we've got the Cod, night vision goggles.

Would you guys pay 100 or more dollars for an uber edition ME3? What would need to be in it for it to sway you and your coffers?

Personally, I'd like a life sized Avenger assult rifle, foldable of course.

Actually, I prefer ONE version really and have everything in it, making everyone happy. Also, if there has to be a pre-order bonus, make it the same pre-order bonus no matter where you buy it.

I would like an awesome set of statues representing all the companions from all 3 games.

And a special large on for Blasto.

As long as it isn't ingame items then I don't mind. I don't like the policy of having a bunch of items being preorder from different vendors only or with select special editions. Sadly this appears to be happening more and more.

Yes, but only if it really is limited edition (like ME2 collectors edition). Too often companies make an uber edition and flood the market so that its value drops over time.

Conrad's replica N7 armor.

But seriously, I'd probably end up getting it regardless of what it comes with... I'm a sucker for that kinda stuff. :P I think a model of the Normandy would be awesome, or Garrus' eyepiece. Insta-buy.

I also would love a model ship of the Normandy, nicely detailed with a little display stand and everything. I already own the Collector's Edition ME2, so if the random goodies are good enough, I would certainly consider a super-duper ME3 edition when the time comes.

What I'd like to see is less digital items (collector armor) and more tangible items eg statues, art, in game items made real.

I'd pay 100 for an ME3 that didn't skimp. All possible Squadmates from both games having a chance to be a part of your team again, Some new faces, plenty of sidequests and interaction. All romances continued, etc. etc.

An ME3 that has the potential for everyone to have a satisfactory conclusion based on how they chose to play the game. Thats something I'd pay extra for.

Casing/box goodies I could care less about.

It should come with a working mass relay.

Lol, I just thought of Bioware putting trillions into developing a tiny mass relay for ME3 mega ultra edition.

I will consider if Bioware includes a full sized Incisor Sniper Rifle (to someone's personal preference), but as you mentioned COD nigh vision goggles was cheap stuff, which you practically paid for anyways. Want the real thing go to a real Night Vision Brand or a real optics store. Bought Resident Evil 5 CE, nothing note worthy! 4 Weeks later price dropped 15 dollars for Resident Evil 5 CE. However I think ME2 CE was really worth it because the Collects Armor/Assault rifle/Particle Beam was very helpful in game. Still haven't check out the bonus disc yet, lol

The particle beam is not Collectors exclusive. Only the armor and assault rifle are.

Blizzard does amazing collector's editions. Usually includes OST, making of dvds, hardcover full sized art book (200+ pages), mouse pads, and random knick-knacks + digital content.

AGAINST!!

Because I'd be "forced" to buy it, and I'd have to put that big folding gun up by Arkam Asylum's giant batarang.  Image IPB

I'd like each of the Bioware game codices collected in their own book, though one with all the Mass Effect (1-3) codices would be pretty cool... God, I'm a nerd.

I think that'd be awesome. A little ME encyclopedia.

Yes. Probably some in game item converted into memorabilia. Maybe a foldable pisol? Whatever it is, I'd buy it.

Edit: Just thought of it, but Shepard's old N7 Helmet. Although it wouldn't make sense as a ME3 collectable (would have been awesome for ME2), having that sitting next to Master Chief's Spartan helmet would be cool.
