Depends. If it was random cheap crap probably not. I loved the case and special content. I haven't seen the DVD that comes with yet but I loved it.

I'd pay 100 for an ME3 that didn't skimp. All possible Squadmates from both games having a chance to be a part of your team again, Some new faces, plenty of sidequests and interaction. All romances continued, etc. etc.

An ME3 that has the potential for everyone to have a satisfactory conclusion based on how they chose to play the game. Thats something I'd pay extra for.

Casing/box goodies I could care less about.

Agreed, if they did ME3 right, I would pay 100 dollars just for the disks.... (Hell I'd pay more if it was perfect).

I'm all for it. I'd love to see what Bioware would give to us hardcore fans. I was thinking,

A weapon replica

Model Normandy SR2 ship

N7 Helmet (that we can actually wear unlike Halo's)

A Blasto plushie

I paid 260 for 2 copies of ME2 Collectors (one for me and my wife) Games in australia are standard 100 dollars and collectors are usually 10-30 more depending on what ya get. So id love it if there was a 100 dollar super edition!

This thread says to me American gamers are tight with their money

Would you guys pay 100 or more dollars for an uber edition ME3? What would need to be in it for it to sway you and your coffers?

Heh. Cost more than that for regular edition ME2 here.

I would pay 100+ for a special edition if it was worth it.

Uh, depends. On if it isn't just some giant crappy helmet. I want art books. Codex entries collected into an encyclopedia. Bonus content in-game, like making your Shepard look different with alien skins, complete with voice tweaks (vocal flanging). I'd pay $100+ for ME3 if it makes it feel like I spent my money on something worth buying.

any game that you spend over $20 more for a special edition better have good stuff in it, and i'm not talking about just physical content either. in game bonuses are great, but the setup that EA runs isn't the best. the fact that they won't set up a separate disc with everything included and i have to download it and take up even more hard drive space sucks, that should be already be on the disc. and also for in game items it should be more than just a few items, i want to see full missions and and special quests. as for bonus physical content, the DVDs need to be better made and not slapped together with stuff you can already find on the internet like that in ME2. I really enjoyed all the bonus stuff in Bioshock 2. if Bioware builds a ME3 edition, or even an ME2 expansion (as what i think they might do first), it would be worth every penny

calling it a Spectre edition at least would be a good idea

I will be buying the game on Steam, so a metal box and whatnot doesn't help me a lot.

I hope there isn't anything like MW2's ideas. That's just way too much. Leave the Collector's Edition like it is. I don't want to have more exclusives for buying such and such and buying such version of the game.

In order to pay $100+ for a special edition, there would have to be high-quality bonuses.

- I would want the special edition disk with plenty of great special features (I have no idea what ME2's special features were); a long making-of documentary showing the entire development process, interviews with the creative personnel responsible for the game and with the cast.
- I would want something tangible that wasn't a cheap piece of junk.  Probably concept art (I love sci-fi concept art).  Maybe a book printed on heavy, high-quality paper with some exclusive pieces.  Or maybe a couple limited-edition, numbered 8x10 prints.
- All of the downloadable stuff like armors and weapons, plus some extras; a really sweet theme for the Xbox 360 would be enough to round it out for me.

It'd be cool if it came with a model. They couldn't add a Shepard model because Shepard can look different for everyone, but they could add a model of the Normandy, or maybe Shepard's N7 helmet or something.

Oh man if they included the SR-2 or the mini mass-relay from the Citadel I would crap my pants and then run out to buy it.

Without changing.

Depends which side of the genres ME3 swings to.

If the SPECTRE edition came with a ressurrected fully voiced Nihlus squad mate I'd buy in a heart beat.:o

It would be nice if it came with a full set of Spectre weapons and armor.(Colossus looking)

Only if it is better than the ME2 Collector's Edition. The ME2 one was lacking in the extra content department. The comic and art book were deffinitely not worth $10.

As long as Nihlus references one of the voice actor's best lines from Split Second, I support this.  However, I simply refuse to pay for a version where Nihlus doesn't say anything about needing "bigger ****ing guns".

I'd just be happy with something similar to the special edition of the first one. I mean partial soundtrack, themes/wallpapers, gamer picture (on 360 anyway)

wth EA, dvd one size fits all format, thats just lame.

That was the same actor? I loved that film!
