After beating the game, I decided to run a paragon campaign just to see how it rolls. I started the character without the import, which was my first mistake. Besides the absurd custom choices bioware made, with a lot of interesting situations missing (like the fan in Illium and a dead Wrex), I had to deal with the paragon/renegade points progression without the import bonus.
Here is the problem. I boosted my class and made all the paragon choices I was given me on the course of the gameplay. Even so, when I started the loyalty quests, I get a lot of gray dialogues, making my initial intention (seeing the paragon dialogues) worthless. On the worst episode, I couldn't solve Miranda's vs Jack fight with the paragon/renegade options and had to pick a side. This made me loose Jack's loyalty, which is bs. This is main quest material, for god's sake. I don't care for the drama queen excuses. I think that if you follow a coherent paragon/renegade path throughout the main storyline, all dialogues of your choice should be available. But what the hell. I knew this game would suck without the import... Nevermind, at least im back reading good books.
Paragon/Renegade progression is broken.
