Hello All,

Well just like to drop a line and say I have completed DA:O and I must say it was GREAT!!!! Going to take a break from RPG'ing like always after a long game but honestly I can't wait to try again with another class.

Not sure if anyone can answer this, but I was wondering what happens now???? If what I'm reading is correct, it doesn't matter if I start a new character, the achievment board won't be cleared. Is this correct? If so is there a work around that I can use to clear it, as I think it will get really confusing when I start to get new achievments with another character, as some won't even have anything to do with another class.

Was this an over-sight on the design? The develoers must have known that people would play multiple times so why couldn't they have done something like exporting the character and all stats after completion so as to clear the board for future characters?????? Maybe that could be a future update????

 P.S.

Someone might what to look into the uploading of pics as well as mine seemed to be selective, Eg. one may not upload server issue but then I would choose another and that would upload fine. I have also noticed that I have quite a few pics online that don't even show ( For the longest time now ) Don't want to delete them incase it is just a sever thing, but geesh! How long do I have to wait????  They should bump up the files to atleast 200, as 100 is not enough, I still have quite a few files in Local.  I guess I'm a real shutter bug Heheheheh.

About your profile pictures, this is the social site help forum: clickie. Topics of particular interest for you would be the "player profiles updating slowly" one and the "DA Game Profile Diagnostics Page Available" stickies.

As to achievements, it's supposed to reflect across all playthroughs. It's your achievements as a gamer, not your achievements per any one character.

Thanks for the info Sarielle, one thing I did notice was if a person has 100 files uploaded that the info/stats won't update. Well then what is the point of having the 100 capacity then if it won't update?????

Anyway, even though it may be odd I'll have to have my other Achievments there it would seem, No biggie I suppose I just would have designed that part different is all.

I believe the file cap is there to prevent the servers from being bogged down with too much, and otherwise necessary, clutter.

Hello,

I figured as much, I'm sure there are tonnes of people so the servers would get pretty tight. I think it would be better to have the owner of the game be able to download there pic files right on their own computer, this way at least our pic pages would be cleared out for any new characters.

I'm creating a new one now and ran the game for the first in game pic, and because I have many pics left over from my first adventure it gets randomly placed in the bunch, rather than have the newer ones starting on the last page on ????? I really hate to get rid of them as there are some real nice ones in there. Wish I could store them in a seperate folder on my computer for my own viewing pleasure, or better yet set them as gallery on my screen saver.

Um...not sure what you mean by getting randomly placed in a bunch...if I use the in-game profile to upload pictures, the newest ones have always been at the last page. Did you perhaps not sort them properly (there are tabs for all, user-taken etc.)? Or am I just not understanding what you're getting at?

As far as where your screenshots are saved, you can find them all under My Documents. My filepath is:

C:\\Users\\Username\\Documents\\BioWare\\Dragon Age\\Screenshots

I'm on Vista though, so yours might not be exactly the same.

Hi Sarielle,

Never dawned on me that it may because of either story or user pics taken.... I'll have a look. And as for the folder thanks for that as well, i'm going there right now....... Well I'llllll Be, there they are, cool. Why I never thought about looking myself??? Well I suppose I would have after I got past the initial satisfaction of finishing DA:O.

Thanks again Sarielle, you made me very happy this evening, or should I say morning Heheh. Now I can even take more pics now, didn't want to take too many the first time as when I looked in my files in game I was getting a -1 reading and didn't know what that was about.

Just in case you might be wondering if I'm paranoid... No. It just that when I first bought DA:O I had a bad exerience with the toolset download and I ended up re-installing my windows XP and have been very timid of the game ever sense.

Well that's all, Thanks Again

Heh, no problem. I'd be a little skittish too if I'd had problems. Glad it worked out for you :)
