also, i'm pretty sure you guys SEVERELY over-estimate what can and cannot be changed through patches and updates.

I rarely replay single player games, I dont see the point (other than many months later once i've forgotten it). In Me2 i just did my second playthrough and already starting a 3rd. It boggles the mind to think of how many different situations bioware have to cater for in ME3.

People here think that whining to Bioware will actually get them stuff. Because when they were kids they were used to crying and ****ing to their parents when they wouldn't get them the toys everyone else had.
in reality it'll just make mass effect 3 worse....

You mean that worked for some kids?
Man, now I'm sad.

Haven't you ever watched Spaceballs? Drinking coffee with his helmet on didn't impare Darth Helmet.

The game is clearly unpolished in many respects. Bioware set its own standards years ago. ME2 didn't meet them and it is clearly evident. We have been spoiled no doubt, but we still have come to expect more from Bioware than this half finished and bug filled game experience.

you mean like when the first mass effect came out, and everyone complained about the MAKO and a complicated inventory system, and now everyone wants it again?
player feedback is the kryptonite of game sequels, i've seen it ruin good games before.
gears of war would be one of them.

Sure is... Whining and complaining equals negative feedback, meaning people don't like something
Unfortunately, positive feedback is usually few and far between because people are still busy playing or don't feel the need to come pat someone on the back for a job well done

Let me guess, it's feeback if you agree with it, and whining if you don't?
They are all opinions, and a competent dev will distill ALL feedback into something greater. FANS didn't ruin any of those games, poor development did.

More like it's feedback if you have you know arguements. It's whining if you are talking only about negatives

Well the irony of this thread is that you are complaing and whining about people comlaining and whining. When you could have easly said that people are not offering constructive critism or helpful insight to improving ME.

it's not so much the fact that you ARE complaining so much as it is what you're complaining ABOUT.
but i bet you were to narrow-minded to try and see where i'm coming, or maybe you were too caught up in laughing about the whole "complaining about complaining" thing.

I sort of understand some of the complaints because Bioware, instead of tweaking the systems, took them out altogether. They are adding the Hammerhead, which is a good example of a middle ground, but I don't think it will be integrated into the game very well. I like what Bioware did I just understand why some people are unhappy.
Of course, there are many others who are actually complaining for the worst reasons possible. They're not going to make Tali as a bisexual. Live with it.

seriously, you can't just be happy with the game. with as many crossroads that this game has, you have to assume their is three times more content then you'll actually get to experience. i mean the game comes on two disks, you would think that would serve as a testament as to how big this game is, take that into consideration next time you're feeling shorthanded and insist on coming onto the forums and complaining about how "you need more Tali" or "you need more garrus" or even how you "need more MAKO".
also, i'm pretty sure you guys SEVERELY over-estimate what can and cannot be changed through patches and updates.

People (in this context) are ignorant whiners looking to decry anything they can so they can feel big. They will never be satisfied and they will never shut up about it because either course of action is entirely counterproductive to their actual goal, complaining.
So, don't pay any attention to them. The opposition only feeds their egos.

Exactly how would you have tweaked the inventory? It's harder to find a middle ground and you end up spending a lot more time coding things in then removing them alltogether. In this case, removing the inventory worked and allowed for more streamlined gameplay as was their goal. Live with it.

Oh no don't get me wrong I don't disagree with the general principal of this thread I just think that you came off a whiny to put it simply. I think you would have got a much better response as I said telling people that they weren't offering constructive input. Even more so when you assumed I was one of the hordes that dared to disagree with your assement .
