^^ This. I think it is just the nature of gamers. I know there have been a lot of threads basically saying "This game is broke, I'm never buying another Bioware game again", but if you do actually look there are some very well structured and very Constructive critiques of the game. (you just have to shift through the dross).
If you really think these forums are bad then I challenge you to go to the SI games forums when they have just released a new version of Football Manager. Some of the whingers there are professional at it and create the same threads year in years out. All because due to the feedback they got on the previous FM they made some changes. It was even worse when they went to a 3d match engine view.
Any way slight rant over.
I concur, definitely. These forums are actually some of the best I've ever seen.
Sometimes the feedback is constructive, but regardless, the community here is actually pretty respectful, and can certainly type far better than the typical groups of random people on most other forums I've been to.
Far better than, say, the Infinity Ward forums.
The other forums I go to, for games like Natural Selection or Project Reality (a BF2 mod), the communities are great, because they're built around an independent developer (in the case of Natural Selection 2) or a skilled, dedicated mod team that exists entirely because of the support of the community (in the case of Project Reality, which even though it is a shooter, is HEAVILY tactical and has the best community I've ever seen in any game).
These forums are, of course, different because they're built around BioWare, but still. Good community, not too bad on the whining front. No worse than the mean, at least.
