Seriously grow up. The game is fun, some things didn't go your way. Deal with it. Life isn't fair. I disprove of some things in ME2 but I'm not going to cry about it and make a wall of text about it either. Did your parents baby you when you were a kid?

I could say the same thing about the people who complained about the combat or inventory system in ME, so what's your point?

I feel like anyone who says things like "...I will never buy another Bioware game ever..." is already so darn emotionally invested that they will absolutely be in line to pick up their pre-order the day ME3 comes out.

Really, there are twice as much whine on FPS forums, I atribute the whining to this game having FPS aspects, that and woman complaining because they wanna romance Seth.... I mean Joker.

I have just had a great idea. Maybe Mr. and Mrs. Bioware can create a game where we get massive points for saying that our icecream is to cold and that our coffee is to hot and that there are to many monkeys slamming on keyboards these days.

No, it isn't RPg fans, it's fans in general. "I don't like what Link looks like in this game!" "Gimli's beard is not that brown, it should be redder!" "This comedy program has too many jokes in it!"

That's just how people are dude.

Why is it on these boards that anyone with a difference of opinion or that does not think ME 2 is the best game ever is called a 'troll'.   Its absolutely ridiculous I mean the maturity of this forum has dropped within the last few months and not for the good of the forum.

I'll add my voice to those that found ME2 disappointing. One good thing about ME2 is that it makes me appreciate ME1 all the more.

It certainly does that jib. It's like the difference between ME 1 being a silk purse and ME 2 being the sow's ear. ME 1 is the better game and ME 2 did not surpass it in many ways for me

The whiners that post in these forums are the vast minority. They are just the over-zealous haters that need to stop talking.

Correction, those folks need to stop breathing, breeding and typing!

Apparently RPG fans whine this much, to infinity, and beyond. But the same can be said for a lot of other genres when the second game doesn't go their way. I personally love the arguments. Great practice for my Philo class. (We actually have a forum site where we're supposed to construct arguments about things and exercise our critical thinkin)

People whine regardless of how good a game is. There is always gonna be a vocal group of cry babies. Now im not saying ME2 is a perfect game but some of the stuff people ****** n moan about is just rediculous.

Oh admit it, you just don't like what they did to Liara and that spoiled your ride. I bet if they kill Tali in the first 10 minutes of ME3 these virtual forums would burst in to actual flames from all that vocal rage.

haha I was gonna post somthing similar but decided not to. Ive seriously seen some people say that how Liara was portrayed made them not want to play the game. Thats just one of the rediculous things I was talking about in my post few minutes ago.

Yes, yes they do usually whine this much. More, in fact. RPG fans are nuts: there are entire boards dedicated to ripping every new RPG release.

The old Bio boards used to be much better, but unfortunately... (1) The ME section was always the least civilized, and (2) the move to the social site has crippled the signal/noise ratio of every board.

*sigh* I can't believe I actually feel the need to see this, but here we go: folks have different opinions. And expressing those opinions doesn't necessarily constitute whining. For instance, I didn't enjoy ME2. It just wasn't my type of game. The combat was good and it was very stylish, but the story felt weaker to me and I didn't care about the characters (for the record, I didn't really like Liara, so I don't care how she was portrayed).

All this being said, if you liked the game, good for you. You're more than welcome to. And all the threads praising ME2 and it's various elements are great forums to voice those opinions. Just as it's the right of others to point out criticisms they might have had.

When you have a song writers circle and critique each other, as a general rule you always say three things. No matter what one thing has to be negative, and one thing has to be positive. That way you will always help them by pointing out something that needs work, and you will reinforce your point by showing you recognize the merit in what they have presented. The third thing can be negative or positive depending on whatever else you have to say really.

People should start trying this when they critique something on the internet. Makes you sound a lot less like a spoiled kid. It also makes you stop and think before blurting out an issue with one particular aspect of a game.

Most points made on forums are grounded in some fact. Written by normally reasonable people who happen to be angry at the moment.
