Grunt wasn't too developed because you basically got him carte blanche. Give him time now that he's "happy" and Urdnot.

I like Grunt. Of course, I view Grunt like I do Oghren in DA:O: If I had a spot for just one more in my squad/group, then they'd both be in there far more often than they do. Of course, there is Legion....tough choices.......

In fact, I do since I carried him around a lot. The same goes for Zaeed. At first, they seemed like underdeveloped characters, but they really shine when you take them with you.

And his inner search of his true self, origins is well presented.

Gameplay-wise it's very useful. As a character he must be the worst ever created by Bioware.

Grunt was one of my surprise great characters, though I find I'm adverse to taking him on certain missions. Anything with a research focus I tend to shy away from, just because he doesn't feel like he can offer commentary - versus say, Mordin, Miranda or Tali.

I absolutely love him for the initial recruitment missions though. Especially Jack's.
