Is there a reason why imported ME1 characters have no eyelashes in ME2?

My imported ME1 character on the 360 has eyelashes, so why doesn't my character have eyelashes in Mass Effect 2 on PC? Default characters have eyelashes, but when I import from Mass Effect 1, there are no eyelashes. I'm quite annoyed. Is this a known problem, and is there a fix?

Humm I run an imported femshep and she has rich thick lashes.

You do get the chance to look over shep's face and make a new one when you import.

Same problem here. Imported femshep from ME1 has no eyelashes, imported malsheps do.

My imported femshep has eyelashes.

However I noticed at some point the lashes seemed to be gone after I fiddled with nHancer so I went there again and instead of just selecting "application" for the anti-aliasing I unchecked the override box. Eyelashes were back.

Hope this helps.

I thought it was meant that way. Like, first my imported femshep didn't have eyelashes, but later in the game she had, like they grow back or something. I didn't mess with nHancer while I was playing.

Even if you attempt to create a new face, none of them have eyelashes. I even cycled through the presets; my Shepard is the default femshep face, so she's not hard to get.

This doesn't quite make sense to me. When I import my me1 shepard, no eyelashes. If I drop back to the main menu and create a default female shepard (the douchebag one that killed the council and Wrex), she has eyelashes. I don't see how fiddling with graphical settings will help, but I'll try it.

EDIT: No good. I grabbed nHancer, forced off AA, and still no eyelashes on imported characters..

Don't force AA off, untick the box to make sure nHancer doesn't mess with ME2's AA settings. That's what solved it for me, or maybe it's just a coincidence.

Closing and reopening the game works as a fix for whenever eyelashes go missing on me.

I force AA through an nvidia profile [not nhancer], but like I said it fixes itself after reloading the game.

Hah, I was discussing this with some friends a little bit ago. Since I beat ME again and imported my NG+ character I noticed eyelashes were missing (which I did notice the first time I played ME2 as well). But then they came back.

They just appeared sometime during the Normandy DLC mission for me this time around. I didn't notice when they popped up last playthrough but once they showed up last time they stayed around.

I actually thought this was normal. The scars hadn't healed and what not when you awoke so I was assuming lashes had not grown then. It's also a good thing that once you import the face it looks much better than on the import preview page.

Anyways what Savage-Alien said is true. If you close the game and loads the game next time the eyelashes are there. I only hope it stays that way

Cerberus did not have the budget to regrow that part. =)

Honestly I don't know? I had noticed I lost mine too and the next day they were there again.
