I'm very new to modding but I've been able to create a face morph preset that works. Now I want to create new hairstyle presets. There is a nice mod out there aptly called "More Hairstyles" but I am looking to create specific hairstyles of my own.
Would anyone be so kind as to create a tutorial or point me in the direction of one?

Can you model? If not a tutorial is not going to be of any use. Basically you just make a new mesh, weight it, add in a full body skeleton, export.

I downloaded Blender to do the modelling. The rest is learning how to do it. I'm a very quick learner so I don't think that will be an issue.
Here's the block I'm up against... I want to export a head and body from DA:O into Blender so I can use it as a dummy to model a hairstyle on. If I don't it's probably not going to fit once it's imported to the game. Can anyone help me with this? The .mor files don't seem to be compatible.

I know nothing about (re)modeling stuff, but I reckon you need the MRH source file, the mor being a processed format.

Add it to a full body skeleton? Isn't the hair a model of it's own. That's why you can choose different styles via character editor in dat. Just look up a converter, I think blender can load up .3ds so just look for one that will convert .mor to .3ds

Torilund, if you manage to find a tutorial I'd really appreciate it, if you share it with us. I'd like to do some hair modeling myself and as I'm sure you've noticed there isn't a lot of information available.
