He basically said: "quote' There's technical reasons why we couldn't grab the party story chest from Warden's Keep. But since you can dump all of your goodies into your inventory save then import that save, you can still bring all your goodies into Awakening."/quote"
Thus if you don't have all of your items in your inventory, it will be deleted unless you sell it.
Get it?

Perhaps they sold their old stuff for some cool My Little Pony figurines or something.
Well there was that sale in Denerim......and they didn't realise there was a talking darkspawn at the time, also the figurines looked cute at the time along with that 12 barrels of ale
But it kinda makes sense getting new stuff then carrying all that old stuff, I mean would you really want you whole inventory imported?

Veridium Scale Mail, 2 Iron Daggers and a silver ring? Yeah, I suspected this would happen...Ferret A Baudoin wrote...
The person returning from Origins does not have the same equipment they had from Origins. They have some good starting gear, though. Perhaps they sold their old stuff for some cool My Little Pony figurines or something. We'll probably never know.

Companions don't carry over, Armor doesn't carry over, DLC doesn't carry over...
So it doesn't really "expand" on the original except in story...

Veridium, sheesh, luxury. They start off with rusted bronze armor and a salad fork. Now that's hard core.
I hope it will be a "fine dwarven" salad fork, or at least a good soup spoon.
Already pre-ordered the expansion so I guess it doesn't really matter- am looking forward to it.

Awwwr....I still feel down about how my Paladin like character I made and gave the newest DLC gear to just won't be the same anymore...there is no point to me even importing him to the new game...
