[Basher of Glory]

Yesterday night I downloaded the game from the german site "gamesload".
It runs flawlessly until now (level 7), I don't have the least problem.

Now I've read about a patch 1.01a here, found it finally and downloaded it, too.

I'm a bit confused now, because I didn't expect, that I have to patch this game manually.
Shouldn't a patch show up in "downloadable content" or be applied automatically?

At least other downloaded EA-games do this, e.g. "Spores" (yeah, I know.... biggest fault in my gaming career...).

There is another reason behind my question:
Lately there were major problems with downloaded games (in Germany, I don't know, how it is with distributors in other countries), because they needed special patches, which were available days and weeks later than the patches for the retail versions. I really hope, that EA/BioWare won't bother us with such disadvantages.
