Hello guys,

I want to ask you about the mechanics behind both of the skills mentioned just right in the magic place called "topic";

what's my point or maybe lack of point ( as I ask you :P ) is:

1. I've heard that agent gives some kind of negotiation bonus ( I was playing soldier shock trooper ) and it's same as soldier's one but: does it give only percentage bonus to the paragon/renegade points you earn or also open some new chat option?

2. short v.: if I choose assassin, will I just earn less para/rene points but still I will be able to max one I want and speak freely with full options or it wont be possible?

uh it sounds a little bit chaotic, I hope that you understand what I mean

You should still be able to max either Paragon or Renegade bars if you don't choose agent. The specialisations that provide the 'negotiation' bonus will just help you fill the bars sooner.

The best thing about these specialisations is that they usually provide quite a hefty cooldown reduction as opposed to damage increase from the other specialisation..

Thank you very much for your answer, it helped me a lot aka saved tons of my time, once again-thank you.

All class skills give a +% to your Renegade/Paragon. At lvl 4 of each class skill you can choose between a 70% bonus, and a 100% bonus to Par/Ren.

The interesting thing is that these bonuses are applied to your base Par/Ren score. Every time you make a choice and you see the +2 Para/Rene or the +5 Para/Rene that is the actual base value of the decision. The class skill then applies to that base skill, meaning that decisions do not give you a bonus at the time of the decision.

I make a decision and it gives me +2 Paragon. That +2 Para gets added to my base Paragon score, and then the class skill increases the overall Para score. For example. Lets say I have 100 base Paragon score, the 100% Para/Rene bonus, and I make a decision. The decision pops up as a +10 Para. That +10 goes to my base Para score to make it 110. The bonus then applies to the base score to get 220 total Para score.

That means that you can spec/respec as often as you would like and you will always have the appropriate value of Para/Rene since the bonus does not apply to the actual decision, just the base score.
