As the title says I seem to be unable to edit my posts.
I have tried with both internet explorer and firefox (both are fully patched and up to date.)

When I click on the edit post button the page changes so that I can type inside the box but once I click onto submit the page goes back tot he first page and the post is still the same.
Is anyone else having this issue?

All the time. The system is so busy sometimes that it recycles the prior image and shows you a flag saying that the edit was done, but you don't get to see the results immediately. When the load eases off, the refresh page option will finally show you the completed corrections. It may take 3-5 minutes.

Yup, agreed. The Server(s) are choking all the time & are hard pressed trying to keep up with the work. I can't help but to wonder if the Site should trade some of it's theatrics for some more performance.
