Well as it has been mentioned in onther threads through out the forums it's no longer in Bioware's hands. It's currently going through Sony's testing. As soon as they say it's good to go my bet is we'll have it the next time that the PS3 store updates on the next Thursday.

This is a copy of a transcript with an EA rep on the live chat support function.  You see I contacted sony to flip on them they stated they had nothing to do with it provided me with a phone number to contact EA.  I did this and it told me to go to a live chat site and this is the conversation that took place.  I have pasted this to the other forum where angry PS3 users have been posting for weeks now (http://social.biowar...index/841470/40)

I also find it difficult to understand the lack of concern for customer feed back in an industry where success or failure rest so firmly on your reputation and user ratings. I thought this game was a 10 and should have been VGOTY instead of Demon's Souls. I can see lowering the value a great deal now though when I consider that everything I saw in the games future is not going to happen. I have a friend who has already traded in his version to Gamestop and has stated that he will never purchase another Bioware product again. The replay value of this game is one of the things that I always thought made it so great I mean I got Darksiders and just like God of War you ace it and it sits on the shelf. I thought this would be the one game that never hit the shelf but there it sits waiting indefinitely I guess

Thank you Phosphorus213 for posting that conversation you had it sheds some real light on the matter. bioware has always been committed to excellence in their quality control and this being there first ever game on the playstation console and this being their first DLC after release they must be having some serious problems getting it to work perfectly and that is the reason they do not give an eta as they will not risk not being able to meet it because they are not sure if a another problem will arise. All I can say is I want a quality DLC and I am willing to wait to get it but I do find it disturbing that you say that biware is blaming Sony, that is not the kind of thing I would expect from them and if true I will lose a lot of respect for them.

Maybe Sony hired a strategy player to evaluate the DLC and he's sending it back to Bioware all the time because he can't find the tactics function as he did on the PC version. *shrugs*

They have already said it was developed and sent off concurrently with the 360 Version. This is not their fault.

Maybe we'll not see even awakening

The worst thing about this is if you go to the ME forum, the mods are replying from everything to lack of nudity in the game to same sex relations, all pretty trivial compared to how DA:O for the PS3 is getting screwed from lack of updates to the site, bad framerates, and a DLC that has been in limbo forever. Nothing against the ME topics, but if they can reply to something like that then they could certainly give us a heads up or a FU, just let us know where we stand.

Last I checked that was only in Europe.

Well it's not like the mods/admins are replying in any other forum besides the ME forum.

Sony has a slower software cert red tape process, that is the reason.



AND that the testing resources were on XBOX first, then moved to sony



Blame sony for being in 3rd place. PS3 gets treated like a 3rd place platform, that might change in 3 years

@Paul143, thanks for the info, that coincides with what I heard, that RTO will come out tomorrow (2/18/10) for the PSN. I'm pretty upset that it took this long, it had better come out tomorrow, if not I'll just have to... wait some more... =(
