Hi,

I've just installed ME2 (ver 1.00) from DVDs to:
AMD Athlon™ 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 5000+ on 2597 MHz
RAM: 2 GB
Graphic card: ATI Radeon HD 3600 Series  (vram 512 MB)
DirctX: 9.0c (Mar2009) or later
SYS: Win XP Home SP3

after i start it, it writes "Failed to initialize physics system. Please ensure you have an updated version of the PhysX System Software installed" and fails to load...

Solution anybody? (I have installed the latest ATI drivers, to be sure. Stil stuck.)

Thanks

You have conflicting information in the links between Direct3D's APIs, PhysX, and the game. Your next thing to try is reinstalling the PhysX from the game disk, then Dx9 from the same source, and if that doesn't do it, the entire game is next to reinstall (edited for clarity).

If the copy of the PhysX program on the distribution disk doesn't work, visit nVIDIA's web site for a newer version (they bought out the company).

DirectX already installed from original disc. Worked

I've found the PhysX installation directory on the disc but it's not workong. The installation starts but after I agree with the license it stuck with just the "text" text in the window.

So can you please help me where to find working installation of PhysX online.

Tried to reinstall the game twice. Didn't help.

Thanks
