Just so you know, I will write those two lovely scenarios! *evil cackle* Already got the first para of Al/Anora down. I'll post 'em to my own LJ. I have to finish one called Ropes 'n Puddin' first though! o.O

*sigh* I'm horribly curious so I will read it...

All that talking sparked my imagination. Now I have the terrible thought in my head that Alistair being a virgin is a LIE because it's too shameful to admit what happened one or two years prior to Ostagar at a short trip to Redcliffe. That's called a plot nug, isn't it?

The damn kink meme will be the death of me and it's YOUR fault! I'm supposed to be an Alistair fangirl not his evil grinning tormentor!

*contributes to derail the thread even further but some things need to be said*

Don't feel bad. Derailing each other's threads seems to be a sort of sport among a certain circle of us here.

Another soul turned away from the light Image IPB, come on don't worry Klarabelle, we've got a great view from the gutter, the best tunes (No Teagan, I don't need you to sing Bannhammer again, and neither does the Lady! Well not yet).

As for thread derailment, well most of us here practice this as a hobby or a semi-professional activity and this thread was suppose to be a big derailment of DAO from day one anywayImage IPB.

Hoo, it's getting saucy in here... I've missed out on a lot, it seems. :P

Also, I want to point out that in Taiyama Surana-continuity, hardened!Alistair marries Anora and actually ends up loving her in time--maybe not romantic love but kinda like what Maric and Rowan had.

MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! *lightning strikes behind me*

So....can a thread that started off as derailed actually be derailed?? or would that count as being on subject??

It's similar in Legam's continuity, actually. Except Alistair's not hardened.

Also, you have NO idea how saucy some of us have gotten with our fandom goofing around. Oh, what goes on behind the scenes...

I think that question's one of those, "What is the sound of one hand clapping" type deals.

Perhaps I should take this as my personal mission to find a topic for this thread and steer it back on to course, which would further derail it? Image IPB

DO IT Ladies!!

I am currently trying to write something that include all of you, either a short story in my derail-dao universe or a little song or poem, with probably bawdy part in it, sort of a funny "thank you for the good times" thing.

Hell, it's been a year since I posted anything, I must have been busy.
So just a little something .

Here the Hitchiker's survival guide to Kirkwall

1.       Apostates should not worry about Kirkwall templar fearsome reputation, they actually can’t recognize magic even practiced under their noses in the Gallows courtyard or in the city and its surrounding, unless it is done by mage from their own Circle.
2.       Showing a large amount of chest hair is a major offense unless you are Varric Tethras.
3.       Warriors should not worry about importing their two handed weapons, as in Ferelden, Kirwall people like their big heavy sword with impossibly long handles, and as in Ferelden they actually work.
4.       Mages in Kirkwall does not fare better than their fereldan counterparts in the fashion department (especially regarding headgear), but they have even shorter temper and really like their blood magic. Making fun will be frowned upon.
5.       Before passing out in a ditch, make sure it is not already occupied by Isabella, she is rather quick with a knife.
6.       If you are related to Hawke, do not come to Kirkwall at all.
7.       Kirkwall denizens are as sane as the next man, granted the next man might be Meredith, Grace, Quentin, Huon or Kelder.
8.       Do not accept a job offer from mother Petrice.
9.       Pissing off the Arishok is legally considered suicide by the city guards.
10.   Stealing a book from the Qunari is not a good idea.
11.   Stealing anything from the Qunari is not a good idea.
12.   Having dealings with the Qunari is not a good idea, unless you’re Hawke.
13.   Do not under any circumstances buy spooky lyrium idol from Bartrand Tethras.
14.   Passing too much time in the Chantry might be a bad idea, especially if you see Anders around.
15.   The presence of city guards in the streets does not make them safer at night.
16.   Boasting of being a mage or a slaver or confessing a fondness for all things tevintid around Fenris is not a good idea.
17.   “Bone pit” and “Wounded Coast” are not quaint and folkloric names for great touristic sites, planning picnics there is not recommended.
18.   Do not accept a job offer from Hubert.
19.   If you think that mages belongs in the Circle and that templars are jolly good chaps try avoiding Anders, especially if he start to glow blue.
20.   Learn to scheme and backstab as soon as possible, it’s a sort of national sport in Kirkwall.
21.    Learn about Blood mages and demons, no matter what you will be doing in Kirkwall, you will meet one of those at some point.
22.   Unless you are of the heroic persuasion do not walk the street at night, the ratio citizen/ people willing to stick a sharp object/ claw/ talon in any passerby in Kirkwall is the highest in all of Thedas.

As usual I will derail my own thread.

That one is not funny, but I was writing a bit of poetry and lyrics ( bad of course) and I came up with that quicky thing about Isabella, it's sort of starting as a try on the haiku style but I can't be bothered with rules, so don't point my epic failure at following the haiku ones.

To Isabella

Perfect skin, eyes like sin
Devil's grin, angel heart
Angel smile, devil's mind
Rivaini pirate queen.

Well that's the(bad) poetry corner done, let's  go back to funnier and dirtier DA stuff.
