Specifically, does anyone know if anything happens if you wait to help the quarian side quest until you have Tali in your squad?

I know it's such a small sidequest, most including myself don't think about this until much later in the game. Just wondered if anyone has done it to find out?

Edit: I just put this in wrong section -_-, if an administrator/moderater wants to move it, be my guest

You get some extra dialogue if you have Tali in your squad.

I always mean to go back and do it with her, but I always forget. It's one of the few quests that I've overlooked on each of my playthroughs. What I'm saying is, I'd be curious if there was any unique Tali dialogue, too.

If I recall, she doesn't say anything when you assist the quarian being sold into slavery on Ilium.

Yeah, Tali says a couple of things.

She asks the Quarian about her pilgrimage instead of Shepard saying something about it, and she gets angry at the Volus.

Yeah it's worth it. It does change the dynamic of the whole scene tho. I really expected Tali to shotgun the Volus.

Instead of Shepard surprising the Quarian with his knowledge from the first game, Tali interjects and notes that the Quarian's Pilgrimage isn't going all too well. She will also throw a hissy fit at the Volus when he proceeds to trashtalk the Quarian race.

Hehehe, I didn't expect it to change the whole scene, just wondered if it's worth doing it once through. Very easy to miss thinking about it at the time. As for the slave on Illium, the best you can do is to get the corporation to buy her to release her anyway.

With the slave on Illium, Tali doesn't say anything to the slaver, but she does tell the SI representative that freeing the slave would encourage trade with the Migrant Fleet (or something like that).

I wish that I could push SPECTRE status more than I got to in the assignment. I wanted to pull the breathing tubes right off of that volus and injure the C-Sec officer, as a SPECTRE can legally do whatever the hell he wants.

And I'm not a Talimancer at any level; my Shep just gets really pissed off at people who discriminate like that and does not show them mercy.

Yeah, there are a few conversation options I would like to use at times, especially after speaking to the council.

Dare the C-Sec officer to scan me, then tell him what I would do if he calls me a civilian again. For example. I just can imagine him reading it out loud with fear in his voice. And seeing the volus take a step back.
