1) Rapidly re-trying purchases WILL cause your issuing bank/Paypal/CC to flag your account as possible fraud. This is just common sense, if your purchase fails, for whatever reason, DO NOT immediately re-try it. Go back into the game and enjoy yourself for a bit, retry again after a bit of time has elapsed.
2) If your Billing country, your EA account, and the country your IP resolves to mis-match, your transaction can fail. ESPECIALLY COMMON IN EUROPEAN CUSTOMERS, or those customers using non-traditional ISP services.
3) If you have some special characters in your email, such as "+bioware", this can cause your account to be unable to log into our checkout flow. In some cases, even "normal" special characters can cause this. You can change your account email here . If you do so, please note the next item.
4) There is currently a bug that is disallowing those who have recently changed their account email from accessing points.bioware.com. This fix will be rolled out in the next few days.
5) Do not put dashes or spaces in the CC number field. Just enter the string of digits 1234123412341234
6) With Paypal, before going through the payment process with points.bioware.com, you need to make sure that you are completely signed out of paypal in other tabs/windows/browsers. Paypal doesn't like multiple sessions being open and this can result in failed transactions. This same stance can be taken with all other third party payment providers, i.e. Wallie, Sofort, Giropay
7) You will also need to make sure you have filled in the state/province/country field on the "Link your Paypal Account" screen.
8) In certain situations, overly strict security and privacy settings, especially those concerning the acceptance and storage of cookies can prevent access to points.bioware.com
9) If you are currently using a military address overseas, (APO FPO), this will be allowed in a future fix, currently slated for after Thanksgiving / Early December.
