Well, it's impossible not to make a comparison between her and Morrigan, but I actually think Velanna can be a solid temporary substitute for Morrigan (until the inevitable Dragon Age 2).

I don't have a good impression of her so far, but I'll wait and see. I assume there won't be any more mages, though. I'm disappointed that she has Morrigan's hair. Or at teh very least one *very* similar to it.

Looks like it might be a case of fighting her first, then recruiting her (I hope she is a Dalish mage, would definitely be something different, maybe she has tattoos elsewhere) once we get her to listen to the fact we're not guilty of whatever she thinks we are guilty of (which we might be, who knows :-))

hmm cannot quite tell if she is elf or not, no tattoos so not a Dalish. maybe a Chaisnd Mage?
