Don't hate her because she has the same stylist Morrigan does, after all I go to Anora's guy, but I totally don't want to take over Ferelden with my dad!
The problem for me is not that they reused a hairstyle. It's how it was done.
1) They reused the unique hairtsyle of a mage companion for a mage companion - couldn't they have given it to a rogue? Or a very devout andrastian Templar and let people laugh at the irony?
2) They reused the unique hairstyle of a companion for a companion - couldn't they have given it to an NPC if they needed the variety? There is what, 14 companions counting the new ones from awakening? Out of which at least two, dog and Shale, don't have hair. Is it too much to ask that in the small group of a dozen companions, they don't recycle?
3) Morrigan is the poster girl of the game. She is on the box. She was in every advertisment. She is on the background of our Dragon Age player profile page. If there is one character who should have kept her uinque looks, it's her. Of course now with Awakening on our doorstep, the Architect is taking over, lifted to the lofty heights of Dragon Age poster boy, while the wheel of fortun turns and casts Morrigan down into generic npc-hood.
Enjoy it while it lasts Mr. Architect, your looks too will be reused soon enough.
That seems a lot more like lazyness than recycling of recources.
Of course Awakening may be a pleasent surprise, but I don't relly have high hopes for it anymore. Wasn't too impressed by the DLCs, wasn't impressed by the Awakening trailers for the new companions.
I guess the bright side is, I can't be dissappointed
