Whenever I try to connect to the Dragon Age servers it says I have an invalid password. I've tried the same login on the EA website and it logs in just fine. Also, I downloaded off of Steam and it never asked me to put in a CD key. Is this supposed to happen?

I had this as well. For me, the problem was I had a "&" character in my password. It didn't seem to like that. Good chance that if you have non alpha-numeric characters in your password that it is the same issue. I had to change my password and then everything worked fine. I haven't seen a place to submit this problem to them, so hopefully they'll see this and fix it.

You're very welcome. I'm glad that worked for you. I wish I knew a better way to get this to the devs.

i logged on through the PC game but it wouldn't take my password when i try to purchase points. I changed the password and can log on using the password but i still could not purchase points as it would ask for the password and it tells me its invalid. I do not have any special characters in the password. just wondering for some help. Thank you.

Although there was no such choice a month ago, there is now a specific Web Site Help forum. You only looked at the very top of the Search list's finds this time, and disinterred this long-dead specimen instead of anything more current.

Let me just say that this was 100% the case for me. I, being tech savvy with the internet, use advanced characters in ALL my passwords making them very difficult to hack. In this particular case- a '#'.
The EA online account allows '#', the bioware social site allows it, yet, sure enough inside the game '#' is considered to be an invalid character. EVERY website I interact with all allow advanced characters in password.
If anyone at Bioware reads this, let this be a wake up call to you that this is 2009, and advanced character usage in passwords is an industry standard.
rediculous.
By the way, love the game!
