I was envious of Ken's Irish accent. I wish Shepard was irish
this .... would ..... be ....... amazing:blink:
Nah its alot harder than you think. He would be running around the galaxy people not understanding a word he was saying and constantly assuming he was some kind of heavy drinking brute. I'd totally be saving the galaxy if it wasnt for that

Three simple words:
D
L
C.
That's three letters.
And even if you wrote out the words that it represents, you only have two of them.
<_<
Sorry it was a poor attempt at humour.

Other best Banter was right after they picked up jack.
"STOP TOYING WITH ME WOMAN!"
Heh, that was precious. I can't remember how exactly Gabby put it. Something about Jack being naked from waist up then telling him she hates all Cerberus to really ruin his mood.

Loved these two. Sometimes I'd go down to engineering just to see what they had to say.
Me too.

I cant recall the exact wording but i think it was something like
you know theres this woman hanging out in the core of the ship and she doesent wear anything from the waist up except for tatoos
really i think ill have to pay her a visit
too bad shes a crazy biotic **** who can rip you apart just for looking at her the wrong way

I haven't noticed much love for Gabby and Ken here. What a pair, absolutely hilarious! Who can't find it in themselves to run after the lost crew just to make sure these two get out alive. Best NPCs by far on the ship IMO. Am I alone?
Secondary function is to raise support to have them included and developed in ME3. The biggest worry si that, because you may not save them, they won't even get a look in in ME3 :'( Those would be sad times.
*ahem* http://social.bioware.com/group/1332/
They've got a fan club.

Of course his accent is scottish, he's a reference to Scotty from Star Trek
Believe it or not, he isn't a reference to Star Trek. At one time earlier in development, there were going to be light romances on the Normandy. Unfortunately, we just didn't have the writing or cinematic design budget to do that, so the light romances were cut. Ken was going to be the straight female light romance option. My wife is a huge Ewan McGregor fan, and she gets weak in the knees for a scottish accent. Hence, Ken is scottish. It was later when we were recording the VO that someone mentioned the Star Trek reference. I face planted into my palms, then recovered by saying "yeaaahhhh, it's an homage. That's the ticket."
Haha, best story ever! Thanks for sharing.

What?! Ken was going to be a romance? It sucks that it got cut, I love scottish accents.

And these two are indeed awesome, and a great reason to swing by engineering. Their repartee always, ALWAYS makes me smile.

Gabby and Ken are awesome. Remarkably well-written characters and they easily have the most humourous conversations on the Normandy by far.
