Since the new xbox experience, we can play without use the dvd. But to play it still require the disk. Could it be possible the create a patch that doesn't require putting the part 2 disk in the xbox since it has been downloaded on the harddrive?

That's a requirement to prove you actually have a legitimate copy of the game. If they did make it so you didn't have to have the disc in the tray, what's to prevent you from borrowing the game, ripping it to your hard drive, then giving it back, but still being able to play the game?

I think the OP is asking if a patch can eliminate the disk swap on the 360, not play with no disk at all.

I was kind of surprised that this wasn't built into the game. My first thought was that if they didnt' you could share the game with a friend (they use one disc you use the other) but the simple solution is to require just one of the discs in after install (say, disc 1). Having disc 2 in the drive while attempting to play from the HDD would result in a "please insert disc 1 in drive to play" message. It really does make sense and seems odd that this isn't the case. Why make us swap for no apparent reason?

I think its a 360 limitation not a the game it's self.

thank you, at least you use your salarian brain (meaning you actually though before posting) not like the one before you. As I said, since you're not even using the disk other than for proving your copy is legit, just giving the same legit code to the two disk (or only the disk 1 could be use to prevent the point Ismellbeaver said)

I also thought that installing both discs would eliminate the need for disc swapping but i geuss the Xbox 360's install feature doesn't work like that.

Umm, I don't think it's a problem with the 360. I think it was a choice that Bioware/EA decided to go with to prevent piracy.

I personally don't see why people have a problem with it, I actually like the areas they chose to put the disk swap at. I didn't really feel inconvenienced, and it's not like gameplay stopped, your at a loading screen already for goodness sake.
