Yuppers, Grey DeLisle is the voice actress for Velanna. She also was the voice actress who did Viconia and Nalia in Baldur's Gate 2 amongst many other great things (as others have mentioned).

But then again, she seems to be another "BLARGH REVENGE I HATE YOU BLARGH" kind of character.  I hope she doesn't turn out that way, but my hopes aren't high.

Whoa shes done a lot of VA in videogames. I didnt know that Nalia and Viconia and Illisan were all done by the same VA. Also Jeanne in Bayonetta, Nassana from Mass Effect and Brianne the handmaiden KOTOR2. Must be a good voice actor since they all were good and I had no clue same person.

I am looking forward to see new trailers of her. I want her to be a combination of Jaheira and Viconia. Since druids are usually my favourite class in RPGs, this might be interesting.

Yep, kinda surprised by that I have to say, I hope that the companion interaction hasn't been cut in other ways, because I will be kind of sad if there is little chance at all to interact with the new companions

I didn't get a morrigan impression at all. I feel she will be a strong vixen that will need to be roped in. She'll have strong opinions and more than likely make you choose between her and the rest. But as far as having a baby and running off...No.

I feel like we got to know Anders alot more from his video than Velanna from her's. All I noticed was she is pissed off at every human because some guys killed her friends and kidnapped her sister. I am assuming she is an elf mage which grew up outside the Cirle her entire life. This video makes me think that she will join your group, but not become a Grey Warden. I am left wondering what might compel her to join the Wardens. Maybe her sister is killed and she has nothing left, sort of like how the Origins Warden is rescued and forced to go.

I will force the drink down everyone's throat just like what Duncan did to me. Else they are not coming along. I'm still feeling very uncomfortable about that scene where I was forced to drink it against my will.
