First you all need a little background information, I am an entomologist.  I study insects for the great city of Edmonton.  This has an unfortunate consequence most years where I get laid off for the winter.  The combination of the city being cheap and the lack of insects in the winter cause them to be mean bastards that don't want me doing lab work all winter.

This particular winter is slightly different however and that difference is Dragon Age.    I now have no job and DA comes out in a few weeks, I can not imagine a better situation.  DA all day every day, no worries, no obligations, are you jealous yet??

The only sticking point is money.  Sure there is EI - but I have bills and rent - and free goverment money, however nice it may be, is just not enough.     I will be strapped for cash and need some good ways to make money!!!  Does anyone have any ideas?  What would be completly awesome is if I got my hooks into Bioware again and forced them to hire me to play games like last time.

That's like being paid for being paid.

Have you considered becoming a Strip-O-Gram?

Considerd!!!  TRIED !!   I learned quickly that no one wants to see a pale, big boned, hairy french man take off his clothes.   At least without plying them with countless hours of witty reparte, a series of escalating dates where I both entertain and facinate, finished with a liberal dose of some sort of mind altering substance.

How about going door to door as a DAO teacher showing people how to properly use their characters without being slain.........for a small price of course.

Interesting - as a side thought - What was the lowest level you could beat the black dragon in BG2? It is the first series of quests I usually go for but for the life of me I can't remember. I think I managed it at lvl 10.

with the limited amount of gray matter I have left its a wonder I can remember to post but I am sure it was more then 10

Usually I will take on as many side quests as possible to level up before a big fight.

I don't think I've ever reached that point before level 15. I'm an obsessive completionist and want to finish everything before I move on.

Ive been having the urge to play BG2 over again, but then I go back into the game in my mind and I know every path to take, every build Ive tried, every play through Ive done... I need a new game!!

Did you do the secret rogue stone door in the city on the gate map (where you do the investigation into the skinning murders) that transports you to the council of higher beings? I remember being lvl 11 and doing that. So many restarts and retries to that fight. Eventually got it because the staff dropped in that room at lvl 11 on Aerie was just too good to pass up - not to mention all the other high end loot from that fight.

It's the only thing I (almost) always put off. I usually do it after the Underdark. The staff is fantastic but I've never really considered it worth the effort. Except for that one time with two wizard slayers -- they're such game breakers.

Don't remember much other loot from that fight except gold from the lich. It's possible to win that battle as soon as you can get a protection from magic and a protection from undead scroll and some skull traps. I've done it at level 10, I'd imagine it's doable at 9.
