Just a short question:

Is there any way to get a look at the identity code of an imported character?

I know that when you start a completely new character in ME2 the code is shown in the Squad menu,
but when you play with an imported char it isn't there, at least I haven't seen it.

So... am I just completely blind, and if so please tell me where I can find that damn thing,
or is there actually no code displayed when you import a char?
If so, is there any other way to get one's hands on it?

Any help would be nice. :)

Imported characters who did not change their face do not get an identity code.

It is possible to recreate your imported face thru the custom face at the start of the game.

I know that you can recreate the face,
but I have no idea how the sliders were, so that's not really an option.

I just wanted to adjust a few things of an imported face, but as soon as you click on change appearance the chargen ditches the whole imported face, hence I asked if there is a way to get a look at the code so I could past it into the chargen and alter the face then accordingly.
I just hoped that imported chars had a code somewhere as well,
because the chargens in ME1 and ME2 are basicly the same.

So there's no way to just slightly alter an imported face?
Oh schmooplespuke...:(

I just pulled my face code from my main Shep imported from ME1 on the 360 last night so I could recreate him for use in the PC version.  After you are into game proper, (ie:any time after the beginning of the tutorial section on the Project Lazarus station) go to Shepard on the Squad screen and the ID code should be at the top left corner of the screen in an orange that blends in pretty well with the background.  It is for me anywyas.

Warning:  dropping this code into the Lazarus Project for a new Shepard seems to have varying degrees of success replicating the exact look of your imported Shepard.  Mine was quite a bit off in the eye and nose regions.  You're probably going to have to do some extensive tweaking to get your Project Lazarus Shep to look 99.9% the same as your direct import even after starting with the face code.

If you're on the PC version,  it sounds like you might actually have better luck making changes to an already existing imported Shepard using the save game editor from here.

It's a shame I can't edit the character's appearance, (Ported ME1 save) I wish to change my hairstyle and add facial hair, to level up my masculinity. :D
