Nobody really knows. If I had to guess I would say it does something with percentage chances like crit, etc or it improves the random loot you find if it's even implemented.

I don't think it's that bad, it's just not stupendously powerful.



I would guess Algo's right. If it does anything it's critical chance but I expect that it doesn't do anything.

It should be, it's just a very very rare encounter. When I wrote the wiki article for the area it's in it took me 2 hours of constant travelling/reloading to get it to appear.

Lucky means you were lucky to find it. LOL. It showed up for me on my second playthrough very early in the game, right around lothering. I am running a mod which makes travel encounters far more frequent however.

using the barrels is cheating in my opinion because the AI freezes in stupidity

@ Sabre - That mod is also making encounters appear out of place, Strange Wood will only appear if Brecilian Outskirts is your final destination. Or maybe the outskirts were your travel destination?

Yes, I got it on PS3, it's just a really rare encounter. It took me six playthroughs to get it.
