Seriously, that guy tried to lock you in a metal box. A box-sized cell, at least.
You. Commander Shepard. Savior Of The Galaxy.
In a BOX
BECAUSE HE WANTED TO MAKE GOD DAMN MONEY FROM YOU!

Plus I can't stand his holier-than-thou crap at the end of the mission. "I do the work civilian governments do not want to do!". Go blow, Kuril.

I think he's enough of a douchebag to deserve a hate thread.

Please state you thoughts about Kuril in this topic.

Yeah, it seemed strange. I mean, what were his chance really to contain the guy who kills everyone. :S

Probably would have worked if he called it a waiting room and sealed him in it BEFORE telling him what he was doing.  He went about it in the wrong way.

that would have made more sense.  But EDI would have unlocked it.  Probably should have done it that way, though.

I never caught who was trying to pay for Shep's jailing?

His and Shep's stare-off sort of endeared him to me.

yeah, he really did fail pretty epically with that little plan. I mean seriously he buzzes you on the intercom BEFORE you're in the trap and exposes that it's a trap. Not to mention he didn't even have a horde of guards right there with you ready to shove you in the cell.

Honestly if that's his plan for capturing the galaxy-saving, death-defying, spectre action-hero that you are it's a wonder purgatory wasn't blown up before then.

I loved his "Shepard, please get into the cell. Don't make this difficult."

Er... it's Shepard. You know, the guy who told the Galactic COUNCIL to go Eff themselves, and then singlehandedly saved the galaxy? That's like saying to Jack Bauer: "Mr. Bauer. Just give up. The terrorist plot will happen, and you will not be able to stop it."

The entire scene felt a bit odd to me anyways. It'd have been different if ten Blue Suns had been standing there with weapons pointed at you. But he asks you to get into a cell while you're alone in a room, WITH WEAPONS.

Erm, yeah.

Warden Kuril was too stupid to live.

True, he did give it a shot... even though it looked as if there was zero thought put into the attempt.

Maybe he didn't know cerberus would be sending Shepard to pick Jack up, so he had to improvise.

Either way, he's a cool bastard. <3

I like Kuril as a character. Voiced by Saren was icing on the cake.

Well, the slavers that attacked my colony on Mindoir wanted to pretty much do the same thing so... kind of used to people wanting my head either dead or alive. Still, blowing his face apart with a pair high velocity slugs pretty much showed my "interest" in being a part in his "little piece of hell."

awws I liked Kuril in that dopey classic villian sorta way

if he had a moustache, I think he would have twirled it fiendishly during his little speech.... came off as self-righteous and pompus to me too ^^'

Me personally I wouldn't dream of trying to capture a Spec Ops/Alliance Commander/Spectre that personally killed Saren and aided in the killing a Reaper

Plus defies all odds and with a pinch of modern science, comes back from the dead....

I only hated him for about 30 min but then I reached him and well it is amazing how a bullet to the head can take away the hate. I feel at peace with what he did now.

there should have been an option to give up your weapon at the start of the section and let yourself be captured so that Miranda and Kelly would have to dress up as priestesses and rescue you

He doesn't really deserve a hate thread because we get to kill him pretty hardcore in the game, was enough of a venting for me. *shrugs*

I reserve hate in threads for people I was prevented from serving up some justice to.

This guy was in the "love to hate" category for me. He's just a great evil warden type guy.

Dude really should have known better, though. But if the game actually had the people who don't stand a chance against Shepard stand down rather then fight him the game would be entirely space exploration with a tense conversation at the end that results in the Reapers apologizing to Shepard.

And yet every evil doer in the Galaxy assumes the 10,000 enemies Shepard's already gunned through to date aren't quite as good as they are :P;)

Yeah, the warden was an a-hole. Unprincipled, conniving, one might almost say...mercenary.

All the more satisfying when you snipe him in the head to trigger the cutscene.
