Thank you, hope I don't run into the steam installation problems. Looking forward to an easy and complete install.

Kewl :P

Just one note - you know how when registering the game key it clearly says "you do not need to enter the dashes for the code to work"?
It lies.

That was my experience anyway; without dashes every 4 characters I got the message "code is invalid for game"; with the dashes, it worked.

[edit:] I got the deluxe download from Steam, if it matters.

Available, but not working, at least for this game owner (and it seems many others).

I've already waddled through two bugs (the Steam installation and the keyfile), and am finally killed by the "unable to access database" bug. So no toolset for me it seems.

Way to go.

Well, It has caused a bit off a different problem for me. I can use the toolset, but I can no longer play the game. After installing the toolset I cannot start a new game (unable to load module) or use area transitions in existing saved games.

edit: I've found a quick fix to this error if anyone else is having the same problem. Posted here http://social.biowar.../8/index/111427

Sweet! Let the nude patches...BEGIN! :wizard:

Lol, couldnt help my self :P.

Right, now all we need is a "Modding" sub forum, and a mod manager of sorts, of we go then :D.

Or actually I guess bioware coul impliment a new tab into the "online" button under "downloadable content", select a new "Mods" tab and whiz through everything thats there, maybe have every mod on like a server were we can just drop in, download, play, decide if epic or not then either keep or remove ^^.

I officially declare BioWare innocent of all charges. I also would like to declare the naysayers and the 'information leakers' (my own sources included) FIRED. Thank you very much. I'll be off now to prepare for the announcement of my own huge project.

All Hail BioWare!

I too intend to create a mod for Dragon Age, possibly a large mod. But unfortunately I have to wait til after the first of the year to have any set plans. Due to the team I am currently with is finishing a mod for Star Trek Legacy.

I am realy excited to see what some people can come up with.  Most user created content is only ok at best but every so often you get someone who can think up and push things in ways even the developers didn't think of.
