- Mordin singing... again tears... but this time from laughter.
-The email from your mom... the moment I got it I had such a pang of guilt that I went and called my aunt..
- Mordins Loyalty mission. That was so full of those small moments.
- Hugging Tali when she breaks down after seeing her fathers body.

That's so true, the new animations and camera changes in dialogue give it a totally effortless cinematic feel... effortless in the sense that you don't even notice what it is that's keeping you so hooked/immersed/engaged in these scenes unless you actively focus on the issue; it just feels natural, exciting and cinematic.Kordras wrote...
Just went back and played ME1 a bit, and I realized how much the changing camera angles and having characters walk around helped the immersion. Good work on that little thing BioWare
I also second the Samara romance attempt - another thing I haven't done in person yet but watched on video, and that scene is just breathtakingly, tear-jerkingly well done.
Literally took my breath away watching it, certainly the most tragic and beautiful almost-love scene in a videogame ever, I believe.
And yes to the other points, too, particularly Mordin's performance... Apropos Legion's robot dance that has been mentioned, another pricelessly funny moment is the part where an annoyed Joker imitates Legion's robot-y movements in a mocking fashion, and pulls silly faces with his back to Legion so he can't see

Also, the "titillating" magazine you can buy from a merchant on Omega - "Fornax", priding itself as "the galaxy's finest xenophilia".
I don't even know what that thing on the cover is supposed to be, a Hanar?
And "specialty editions such as Genit-Elcor and Krogasm servicing devoted but smaller markets"?

"Here's to simply being happily drunk!"
Btw, did anyone else get the feeling that there was definitely a vibe of intense affection and attachment coming from her towards MaleShep the whole game, but particularly in this scene?
"Or hell, maybe it's you! Shepard, our immovable center. A place for a person to stop and catch her breath..." - she says that in such a longing, loving tone, it's incredible.
And the happily spaced-out way she smiles when MaleShep agrees to sit down and drink with her - I think I could see the sparks flying right there
I'd be all for a Dr. Chakwas romance, seeing as she's been one of my favourite characters from the start...

-The Krogan fish conversation. And the fact that he was so heartbroken when he found out there were no fish in the Presidum made me laugh, yet feel bad for him.
-Reminicing on the good old days with Dr. Chakwas. Was great to see a familiar face on the Normandy.
-The bartender on Illium. She was just awesome.
-The advertisements on the Citadel...
There are just too many!

- The drinking with Chakwas... was great.
- Tossing the Merc out of the window
- Shooting Verner into his foot and his reaction
- All the conversations with Legion, i really warmed to him
- All the Banter between EDI and Joker
- EDI saying: I like humans on their knees.

Elkor. Smoking. Cigar.
Made my day.
Also, a few more:
- The garbage compactor, with the airlock where you can actually watch you waste being sucked out into space... makes for great recreational activity between missions ^^
- Generally the room that Zaeed is in, with all of his personal objects and battle memorabilia that you can investigate and then he'll tell you a story about them
- Mess Sergeant Gardner, when you ask him about being plumber, electrician and cook rolled in one - "So, the man who cleans out the toilets also prepares the meals?" - "Hey, I wash my hands - most of the time.." (scratches his shoulder nervously)
- Just Mess Sergeant Gardner, period. "I catch what falls through the cracks - Heh... through the cracks!"
- The Kaiden Alenko scholarship for promising Biotics (if Kaiden died on Virmire)
- Mordins excuses when he doesn't want to talk to Shep - "Trying to determine how scale-itch got on Normandy. Sexually transmitted disease only transmitted by Varren, implications... unpleasant."
(I think those implications are even more disturbing than the Genit-Elcor special issue of Fornax!)
- Playing a game of Skyllian five poker with the two engineers on the engineering deck - "Going easy on the rookie, I can't believe we fell for that!"

Oh, I didn't even know they had a cameo in ME2 as well yet!
I'll definitely be keeping an eye open for that now... and I'll be taking Legion to C-Sec ^^
I also agree with everything that's been mentioned (a lot of which I haven't experienced myself yet, but watched spoilery vids about - like the Tali hug, awwwww... and the bar on Ilium is FTW all in all).
The email system as a whole is totally a source of all these tiny awesome/funny/heartwarming moments.
I also liked the email you receive from the kid on Omega if you've used the Paragon interrupt to stop him from joining the Mercs...In this context I find justinnstuff's signature to be totally hilariousMaviarab wrote...

The signature works on two levels. First level, it's making fun of the citadel endorsements. On the second level, those endorsements were in every store on the citadel, as my sig is "endorsing" every thread I post in
I am not the original creator of the sig, but for whoever invented it, kudos to you.

I liked this scene as well. I also agree with you on the weird sexual tension there. But, to me, it's completely due to the look on her face when you break off a conversation with her. It is sort of a vaguely-horrified "Dear God, I won't tell anyone what we did if you won't" expression.
My favorite "little things" in the game were:
1. Mordin singing
2. The Video Clip from the All-Elcor Hamlet.
3. EDI's "humans on their knees" comment - and just EDI & Joker in general.
4. Seeing Helena Blake as a social worker on Omega (knew I left her alive for a reason)
5. The message from the Rachni Queen.
6. The Illium Bartender. Probably the only NPC in the game that I talked to every time I passed by.

I can't keep the hierarchy of coolness, but I'll try to list the most favourite:
1. Most favourite: roance dialogues with Tali.
2. Illium bar NPC dialogues, all of them, also bartender.
3. Mordin's conversations, including him singing, the itch disease on Normandy, the pre-romance's finale interspecies safety tips XD.
4. Also Legion's "There was a hole" speaking of use of Shepard's old armor part, and then "No data aviable" ( while moving his"eyebrows" this funny way ), made me roll on the floor.
5. Next Legion conversation - when he quoted "Do these units have a soul?". Geth will never seem so mechanic again after hearing this one.
6. OFC Garrus speaking of "Tali's immune system", and Tali answering "I have a shotgun".
7. The speech of human fleet admiral to the cadets about the 20 kilogram iron bullet - "if you miss, someone , somewhere will have a bad day!".
8. The male engineer speaking of Tali and then, Tali: "you know I hear everything?"

The email from mom. The emails in general were a wonderful touch. The first spam one I spent a good 10 min trying to figure out what mission this was triggering.
Hugging Tali...I am really pro-quarian just because I think of tali as my kid sister.
Mordin...he was always good for a chuckle.
The engineers...they were priceless. And the announcers on Omega, the batarian one (or so I think anyway) was absolutely a blast.
Parsini (edit: had the wrong name previously)...the kiss was priceless, not to mention her comment about Asari squeeling like school girls when you catch them. "Talk to your lawyer quickly you won't be able to afford him soon."
The email from Dr. Michel...though my female Shepard was not so thrilled to read "...and my friends convinced me to go out with a doctor from the Citadel." from Kaiden.
Seeing Emily on the news vid.

I like how in the party bante- oh wait.
LOL. So true, my friend. They have to encorporate this somehow for the next game. They could do it like they did in Dragon Age, just have freakin' hilarious conversations between your two squaddies pop up from time to time as you're traveling.
My favorite little thing was seeing the couple from the last game who argued about what to do with the baby on the Citadel. It was nice to see them patch it up and follow through with your suggestion.
