-- Joker in general esp. the "What a tool" set of lines
-- "I wish Shepard was here"
-- The banter between the engineers
-- The feeling that the little decisions were remembered [at least in Email]

-The entire Tali romance, every time she got awkward and flustered
-How the loading screens varied and were actually interesting
-Garrus's line about his facial damage, about finally giving Shepard a chance with all the ladies (I was actually not a big fan of Garrus in the first game and thought his character was amazingly developed in this one, albeit a bit sad.)
-Joker: "Leather seats..."
-Shooting Conrad in the foot... I'm normally a full-out Paragon, but seeing this option I just had to pick it, like punching out the Eden Prime scientist in the first game.

EDI: After completing the Rite of Passage, there are several mating requests for Grunt... and one for Shepard.

Something that made me laugh was the animated Turian merchant in the weapons/Safari-like store going on about going on the hunt for the vicious beast that had killed 4 of your friends in the last couple days ... you see it and take aim and pow! You drop it!
... To which Shepard replies that one of those hunts wouldn't be as exciting for him as regular life.

"With a sincerity such that skepticism would be deeply insulting: no."
Basically, I loved going back and forth between NPCs just so that I could hear this kind of banter. Those were little touches that really helped bring this world to life. Not to mention that most of the time they were absolutely hilarious. Like the two guys discussing shotguns or the turian and his oblivious quarian friend.
Edit: oh yeah, and some of the more touching ones, like the salarian getting old and wanting to get a gift for his asari lover before he died... made me a little sad inside.

@ Dr Metzger, oh yeah, that Batarian doomsday prophet was hilarious "You humans are a stain on galactic purity! You Sir, you are a blight - and you! And you! And you over there! All of you, humans!"
That was Bender, right?

... and sorry for the double post, but also: Drinking with Dr. Chakwas.
"Here's to simply being happily drunk!"
Btw, did anyone else get the feeling that there was definitely a vibe of intense affection and attachment coming from her towards MaleShep the whole game, but particularly in this scene?
"Or hell, maybe it's you! Shepard, our immovable center. A place for a person to stop and catch her breath..." - she says that in such a longing, loving tone, it's incredible.
And the happily spaced-out way she smiles when MaleShep agrees to sit down and drink with her - I think I could see the sparks flying right there
I'd be all for a Dr. Chakwas romance, seeing as she's been one of my favourite characters from the start...
I liked this scene as well. I also agree with you on the weird sexual tension there. But, to me, it's completely due to the look on her face when you break off a conversation with her. It is sort of a vaguely-horrified "Dear God, I won't tell anyone what we did if you won't" expression.
I think Dr. Chakwas is more like the ship's mother figure. I definately didn't see any romantic sparks fly, but she clearly respects you and is definately proud of you.

1. Mordin singing
2. The Video Clip from the All-Elcor Hamlet.
3. EDI's "humans on their knees" comment - and just EDI & Joker in general.
4. Seeing Helena Blake as a social worker on Omega (knew I left her alive for a reason)
5. The message from the Rachni Queen.
6. The Illium Bartender. Probably the only NPC in the game that I talked to every time I passed by.
Gah! How have I missed that through all my playthroughs? O_O Where can I find this clip? XD

EDI: "News of your successful passage of the rite and defeat of the thresher maw has produced many breeding requests for Grunt and one for Shepard."
Grunt: "Hah!"
Only for Wrex, that's all I'm saying. *Coughs*
There were a lot of great moments. I was really touched by the Shepard Memorial on Akuze from the Sole Survivor background. The email from Tabetha was also very touching. That scene in the original game got to me. She was the girl who escaped the slavers on Mindor if you played the Colonist background.
The email from the Volus scientist from Noveria was also... interesting. Seems he's still pretty traumatized.
Mordin singing, Legion dancing. The best however is Shepard's horrible dancing from Samara's loyalty quest. That my friends is the greatest thing I've ever scene.
Oh, and of course the Paragon interrupt from the quest on the Wards regarding the credit chit. Video link in my sig I liked it so much. XD

Its on the Citidel, if you keep hammering on the video adverts you'll eventually see it.

Top Ten "little things" in ME2 that made me giggle:
1. The look on Joker's face when EDI comments on liking humans on their knees
2. The look on Shep's face after Mordin sings
3. Joker imitating Legion
4. Shep dancing - okay, white Shep can't dance. It may be just a video game, but I was embarrassed for her. Stick to shooting, sweetie.
5. Speaking of dancing, at the same bar, Garrus & Thane stretched (you know, the neck thing) at the same time and it totally looked like they were doing a weird version of the electric slide...and it was still better than Shep's moves...
6. Space hamster...nuff said.
7. Everytime Thane wore a helmet, the Spiderman theme ran through my head. (I still wanted him, though...)
8. Mordin's sex talk re Thane & Shep
9. The way Kaiden's picture was flipped down after I pursued Spiderma....um, Thane.
10. Dirty Harry Hanar

ROFL. Immediately after EDI said that, I froze and thought she was serious. My in head, I was thinking: "NUUUUU! JOKER, WHAT HAVE YOU DONE SON?!!" I was quite relieved when she said it was a joke.
Another fun little thing... the Nigerian 419 scam e-mail. Am I the only one who looked all over the terminal for a way to send the 20,000 credits?

Sometimes you would get a mission as to deliver a found item, which was also fun.
Though I miss elevator squad mate chats.
