I liked this scene as well. I also agree with you on the weird sexual tension there. But, to me, it's completely due to the look on her face when you break off a conversation with her. It is sort of a vaguely-horrified "Dear God, I won't tell anyone what we did if you won't" expression.
Oh yes, this was fun ^^TentacleLove wrote...
Choosing the renegade response when talking to the small group of Batarians just inside the main entrance of afterlife. Makes me smile every time.
I also agree with everyone who menioned the two engineers, it's not just the poker, every comment and conversation with them is great.
They are totally likable all in all, from their cool accents to the way they are a symbiotic team and interact with each other, and how Kenneth is often like "...yeah, thanks, MUM" towards Gabby.
I also think Zaeed was comedic gold at many occasions, I just love bringing him along on missions just to hear his comments on the situation, he always has some memorable matter-of-fact one-liners that absolutely crack me up...

I loved the adds in the Citadel as well.
And the dialogues between members of the crew in the Normandy. After each mission, I would visit the whole ship just to see what they have to say.
The atmosphere in Omega felt very lively, even though it's not my kind of place at all. Illium, though good, didn't have the same "life vibrating" feel as Omega, but maybe that's intentional.
Little things like codex, planet description, all that make the game and the universe that much more alive.
And BTW, I just noticed you made the thread Lea. Had I known earlier, I would have been the first to comment

Jack's personality (-development) is just great and I love it to pieces, I'm currently romancing her with my MaleShep and waiting to get to that heart-wrenching moment of meltdown... she's a wonderfully done character imo, and the romance is enticing and touching, my MaleShep is totally resisting the temptation of Tali for herMondo47 wrote...

I feel the same, no matter how Renegade I play I can never bring myself to be rude or aggressive towards the Quarians, being harsh towards Veetor on Freedom's Progress for example, or not choosing to turn him over to Tali straight away.Spell Singer wrote...
Hugging Tali...I am really pro-quarian just because I think of tali as my kid sister.
And as my current MaleShep is romancing Jack as see above, his intense affection for Tali is more that of an older brother, which makes him veeeery protective of her

Batarians are an entire species of Morbos. I LOVE the Human/Batarian news casters with their own spins on the news of the day in Omega.

No, I mean that I think the Mad Prophet was actually voiced by John DiMaggio. It sounded exactly like him.

Heh, thanks Knight, and I absolutely agree with the lively atmosphere on Omega, the news reports, (especially those!), the codex entries, planet descriptions etc. making the game what it is and as immersive as it is.KnightofPhoenix wrote...

That's why I started the thread, I feel that sometimes these little finishing touches, that play a huge role in the gaming experience, do not get all the loving attention they deserve - and I thought it'd be nice to have a place to gush freely about all those tiny cool aspects and moments we loved

Enkindle this!
"I'm a man on the edge!!!" - Conrad
Miranda mentioning that Chora's Den never reopened after the battle of the citadel
Miranda talking about the VI incident on Luna with EDI
"That was a joke."
Francis Kitt's Elcor Hamlet being referenced again.
The dude from the Wards Market STILL can't get his refund/exchange
Shepard's lame dancing
The Volus talking about short-selling and reminding me what a bunch of scum bags Wall Street types are. The Asari chick being disgusted at first but then rationalizing it when she realizes it's the only way she'll "get hers".
I like that they added crying too, some moments with it were really touching.

I agree, this time they're actually giving you useful pointers like "Watch out!" (when there's an enemy approaching you from a direction you're not looking in), "Enemy in front!", "Take cover!", "Overload their shields!" etc. - it feels totally realistic, like you're actually working with a helpful team that will have your back and alert you to threats you haven't noticed, often saving your life in a tight spot.Spell Singer wrote...
Actually this time around the combat chatter is great. Especially since it useful.
And the dude with the Refund is in it again? Damn, I have to see that one...

What? When my Shepard did that the asari was totally into it! He said "I'm going to dance next to you - if you want to think we're dancing together, go ahead", then she said "I do wanna think that!". I thought to myself, wow, Shepard's a pimp.

Also, adding to the combat chatter praise, I like how the squadmates congratulate you when you land a headshot, "Not bad!", "Nice shot!", "That was a good one!" etc.
I especially liked the way Miranda said it for some reason... And speaking of Miranda, it was also amusing how bitter and defensive Jacob gets when you question him about their past relationship, though it does make you feel bad for him, too...
"It got a little close and then it got really far apart... If I had any idea what made her tick I'd either be with her, or dead!"
