There was the scene with the Asari on Illium, the one where her Krogan boyfriend is spouting poetry to her. I loved the look on Shep's face when she's like "It's not like dating a human where you just wait a century for them to die off. Uhh... no offense.."

I laughed at Shep's face for like 5 minutes.

This, so very much.  Made even funnier if you're sticking with Liara, because Shep's expression takes on an extra added flavor of "Oh no, you did NOT just say that to me."

Other favorite moments:

*The Nos Astra bartender's facepalm over Conrad the "extreme mercenary."  Also, Conrad's whole dialogue string, especially regarding his faux-N7 armor.  "You can get really good replicas on the extranet... they're expensive, but it was worth it!"
* The kid you can talk out of joining the mercenary band in the Archangel mission.  Getting an email from him later thanking you for saving his life was even better.
* Gianna Parasini.  "You're buying the beer next time, Commander!"
* Finding the locket of the human/asari couple in Nos Astra, and returning it to the woman whose daughter lost it.  Finding out that the man died when his daughter was still very young and it's the only memento she has of him was quietly tear-jerking. (I couldn't help but think that could be my Shep someday.)
* Talking to the Baria Frontiers rep at Shiala's request and finding out why she hates aliens so much.  Made worse by realizing that you're actually talking to Nelyna's mom (the greeter at the Consort's Chambers).
* Your pet varren on Tuchanka.  Loads better than a fish tank any day.  Why couldn't we take him with us, a la Dogmeat?

A lot of awesome details have been mentioned already so I"ll try not to do too many repeats.

1. I love the details they put into some of the places you visit. I stood for awhile in Jacob's loyalty mission, just taking in the scenery.
2. Mordin's uncomfortable little cough after he sings :) That's hilarious.
3. All the new facial expressions: Characters are no longer flat and wooden. Even after a few playthroughs, I still allow most conversations to fully play out because they're engaging to listen to and watch this time.
4. Grunt's humor: "You doing that little human thing you do," (or something like that) and his air quotes when talking about the point of a knife. I love it when he hopped up and down in excitement at one point. I can't help but laugh because it's not often that a Krogan can appear childlike.
5. The codex and planet descriptions: I like that Bioware didn't just cookie cut a few planets and toss them out there. Many of them have great back stories. As a big RPG fan and an avid reader, I enjoy all the extra information they provide.

I have to say that I feelt kind of great and kind of disapointed with Kal´Reegar since.

-He´s a marine! (up).
-He uses a heavy weapon that should have been a M60 (up and down).
-He curses and uses bad language, but does not say "****" (down).

Damn! I have realized that these boards censore great quotes from the history of cinema! Well, anyway, no need to guess how Kal´Reegar is because his voice makes it pretty eviden who he is:

Kal´Reegar is one of the reasons why Quarians are still there. It was great that Bioware choose Mr. Baldwin to give voice to the Animal Mother of Mass Effect. :wizard:

You get a pet Varren??
I need more time to frigging play this game!

And also, oh my, that puts Mordin's comment about the sexually-transmitted scale itch only passed on by Varren in yet another disturbing perspective...

And lol, indeed, Statulos :D

If you make them stick together they show up on the Krogan world later. He shows her his home.

Ok, I just started up my ME 2 game for some recreational planet scanning, logged on to Cerberus network and I have to say that this:

Many human planets and colonies celebrate St. Valentine's Day today, a holiday themed around romantic love and the greeting card industry.
Prospective or established mating partners exchange love notes with one another, and some add gifts of cut flowers, jewelry or sugary confections in the hopes of receiving sexual favours.

Industry insiders estimate over 2 billion Valentine messages will be sent this year on earth and an additional 5 billion throughout human colonies.

The holiday is rapidly spreading among the Asari and the Volus, who embrace its unusual mix of commerce and reproduction.

... as a "Cerberus Daily News" note is probably my new favourite little thing yet.

On that note I wish a happy Valentine's Day to all who care for it.

Sometimes fiction cannot compete with reality. I have seen it and I´m still laughing my ass.

Not a bad excuse for making some hot chocolate for myself. ;)
