I had just gotten Miranda's loyalty when I helped her find her sister, and then right after that I went and helped Jack with her situation, and brought Miranda with me.

As soon as we got back to the ship, they got in a fight. I asked Miranda to back off, and now she won't talk to me. I looked at my squad page before starting another mission and noticed that her loyalty is back to "normal".

Is that permanent? Will we be able to get past this or is she just going to be a pain for the rest of my life? And will I pay for having gotten on her "list"?

If you have a high enough Paragon (maybe Renegade too, but I forget) score, there's a dialogue option with her to regain her loyalty. The meter has to be pretty nearly full, though.

I lost Miranda's loyalty in the same situation and everything turned out fine in the end, provided everyone else is loyal and you avoid using her during the finale you should be OK. I think the Paragon meter needs to be over 95% to use the special conversation choice.

Well, I'll not worry about it so much then. I'm generally much more of a paragon than renegade, so maybe I'll get there anyways. But every once in a while I have a tendency to smart off - so it's up in the air whether or not I'll be that saintly when the time comes. Thanks!

I'm in the same boat as you except I told Jack to back off, since I wanted to romance Miranda. I played Shepard as someone who was mostly paragon, but was quite willing to strongarm someone if it served some greater good. He's also got a bit of a short tember and can be sarcastic.

Unfortunately while that still leaves him at about 75% paragon, it isn't enough to be able to resolve the cat fight without either Jack or Miranda losing loyalty.  I really don't understand why the confrontations were handled that way. It seems to penalize players that don't roleplay their Shepard as being entirely paragon or renegade.

As I'm about to head out for the IFF, I guess that means I'm losing at least two squad members in the end run. (since I've heard there is another confrontation)

Yeah I really don't understand the system. I though having a high enough of either score would give you access to those conversation options, but apparently you can only go either way. I guess you can't play the character you want to be in the game without a penalty. Kinda sucks in my opinion.

im having the same problem but with jack. i lost her loyalty. now miranda wont seem to talk all she says is ive got things to do.. am i screwed with romancing her or do i have to stick with tali

i lost miranda's loyalty also but luckily avoided losing tali or legions loyalty. anyone know of a way to gain paragon fast ,after samara's mission

Actually I was wondering if anyone has yet found a Morality glitch like in the first game -- the one on Noveria for those who don't know -- The DEVs might have been careful this time around about purging exploits like that but one can always hope right.

when you go get the reaper iff you vill get about 20-25 paragon depends on how u solve the mission, if u take the geth with u u wil get the paragon if not you wont get anything but 5 renegade
