For those who aren't familiar with Gillian Grayson, she is an autistic, biotic, human girl from the Mass Effect novel Ascension.
Jack is supposed to be the most powerful human biotic, according to ME2. However, you would think that singularity would be among her skillset. Conversely, Gillian formed a singularity as a mere child.
I prefer to think that Gillian is actually more powerful.
Any thoughts or should I just defer to ME2 canon?
Whose more powerful? Gillian Grayson or Jack?

i don't have a preference between the two, but my guess is that you could assume that Jack's experimentation is all mostly a secret. only people with intimate knowledge of cerberus operations would really know the extent of Jack's experiments and power. If Jack's power is mostly a dirty cerberus secret and most of the people who meet Jack die, then it might be safe to say that the ME galaxy doesn't know about Jack enough to formally compare to grayson.

Gillian is still young... my bet is that she's going to end up being pretty pwn.

(SPOILER ALERT FOR MASS EFFECT: ASCENSION)
I'd say Jack, for a few reasons.
The book implies that a lot of her powers come from the drugs that she was being given by Jiro. By the time Gillian was on the quarian fleet, she was still doing some pretty crazy stuff, but it wasn't like creating a singularity in a school cafeteria. I dunno if that's tur,e 'cos I didn't write the book, but that's the impression I got.
Gillian certainly has a lot of potential. However, as of current canon, she's hidden off somewhere in space, aboard a quarian ship, in a stable situation being taken care of by someone who loves her (Hendel). She is more likely to be well-adjusted and calmer if she is ever re-introduced into society, though, of course, she won't be "cured" or anything.
Jack, on the other hand, has been beaten into a warrior. She has not only power, but experience, and if she ever got into a position to tangle with Gillian, she'd be able to outwit the girl. I'd like to think that, if Jack ever met her, though, they'd have a cute big-sister/little-sister moment.
On a side note, how awesome would it be to see Gillian, Lemm, and Hendel in ME3?

Speaking of which, Jack's cut-scene on the Purgatory was so full of bad-assery, it was a little anti-climatic to actually have her in my party... I wanted to see her wreck 3 heavy mechs with a single charge (speaking of which, what happened to her charge...)
So I guess it comes down to cut-scene Jack or game-play Jack.

Gillian, having yet to truly tap into her biotic potential, created a Singularity. I'd say that if she learned to truly tap into her powers, she'd be the most powerful human biotic.

Jack, Cerberus spent years pushing her beyond the limits of normal human biotics. Of course, Samara or other powerful Asari probably have more raw power.

Well Jack is a vangaurd, not an adept. It would be sweet if Jack had the charge ability but that could cause some obvious issues with an AI controlled character. She does a thing like charge during the first cutscene with her when she rushes those mechs, she also does it to a few mercs right before you first talk to her. I have never read the ME comics. It would definitely be an interesting fight but I think Jack would kick her ass.

I'm going to put my money on Alan.
Alan is definately the most powerful biotic.
His Charge causes Singularities everywhere.
Alan > Gillian Clarke > The Jackson 5

Also to add to above statements, spawning a Singularity seems to be more about skill or "getting it right" than raw power. Jack's Shockwave wrecking 3 Heavies is enough to convince me she is pretty frickin powerful. Only reason Shep probably is in the same league is he was rebuilt and having super implants now (probably a ton more nodes of eezo thanks to Cerberus).

So much for leaving him as is, right.

In the game during Jack's loyalty mission one of the scientist talk about piggy backing on the Alliance Ascension program.
Gillian Grayson is the result of that piggy backing. So I would say Grayson is more powerful because during ME2 she would be around age 14 and had about 2+ years of personal biotic training from Hendel.

i think Gillian is more powerful biotic, giving her some time to grow up and to train.

Apparently Jack is most powerful right after leaving cryo stasis, and Gillian is most powerful right before having a seizure. Both pretty impressive, seeing as how I get dizzy and nearly fall over when I get off the couch too fast.
I assume that a biotic who can create a singularity as a teenager has more raw potential, and she has special training; but as others point out, Jack has been conditioned to be a ruthless killer. I see it as analogous to two different biotic builds for Shepard, like a crowd control build versus a damage dealing build.

Giving Gillian time to develop her powers would most likely lead to her being the most powerful human Biotic IMO. Mostly due to the fact that she was able to created a Singularity. However as someone mentioned above, we really don't know the true history behind Jack; she could have also created a Singularity when she was younger.

Why can't Jack make a Singularity?
Easy; the game wants Shepard to be the only one on the team able to do that.
Same with Charge.
I'm sure Jack can do all that, just she isn't shown to in game because they want you to have a unique biotic power.
If other characters could use each classes' special skill, it'd take away from the feeling that you have something nobody else has.
