DISCLAIMER: I am not complaining about lack of Miranda nudity, or nudity in general. Just curious.

One thing I notice a lot in pro- and anti-nudity threads is Yvonne Strahovski -- or rather, this sentiment that she was one of the reasons nudity was removed. From what I gather, this is because she is an actress of high standards, such that she doesn't do nude roles (and consequentally, had it stipulated in her contract with Bioware/EA that the character of Miranda, modeled after her, would never be portrayed in full nudity).

Is it true that Yvonne is simply a classy woman who refuses to get naked, even for tasteful roles? (evidence would be appreciated, be it an interview or biography or whatever). Just wondering, since everyone is always mentioning her in those threads.

I wasn't saying that I believed it, just that a lot of people say it.

And you'd be pretty damned surprised at what she could stipulate as conditions. As quoted from Wikipedia:

People have interesting..codes.

For example, I know Alba said she would be hard pressed to do nudity because of her family/parents and such (this was before she had a kid). But she obviously appeared very skimpily quite a bit.

Ya I don't know, all the love scenes were pretty weak compared to Dragon Age. I thought maybe they just layed up to avoid some heat. Miranda's was still the most fleshy and in my opinion, da best!

If Miranda took of her bra in ME2, you wouldn't see it up frontal, that's not BioWare style. You would most likely only see her back while doing so.

You fail to grasp the concept.

Exposure of the genitalia is nudity. Not doing so is not nudity.

Some actresses and actors refuse to play nude roles.

Therefore, I am curious to know if Yvonne is an actress who refuses to play (or voice) nude (naked, unclothed) characters.

I honestly think it was just a conscious decision on Bioware's part. They want to their game to be seen for what it is, a great interactive experience, and not a game all about sex scenes.
