Hi everybody longtime lurker first time poster...yadda yadda yadda.
First thing i'de like to say is congratulations Bioware i've been on DAO permanently since thursday and the game is awesome, iv'e only got one teeny tiny problem, for some reason everytime my character is loaded or appears on screen hes constantly walking forward this also happens in combat situations or if i take my hands off the controller, now i know what most of you are gonna say "clean your controller" or "your thumbstick must be stuck" etc etc but as my elite is only two weeks old i hardly think thats the problem, any advise would be greatly appreciated and i do apologise up front if this has been posted before but i looked and could'nt find it. :)

ps if morrigan is based on anybody you guys know in rl any chance of a phone number :P

Got the same problem with one of my controllers (Halo3 Ed). I have pull it back a bit to stop movement. Have had this happen in other games too. That being said, it would be interesting to hear if anyone has noticed this.

You might want to clean your controller.

Seriously. It doesn't matter how old the console is. It sounds like something in your controller is forcing the stick slightly forward. If nothing else, you can go to the store you bought it from and exchange it.

Its definitly not the controller and it appears i'm not the only one with the same problem i believe it has something to do with dead zones or some such technical hoohaa, quite a few of my friends have come across the same problem as well.

Same problem. My character will walk forward all the time. Pretty frustrating. But when I go into menus my controller functions just fine. I tried changing the sensitivity settings with no effect. At first I assumed my controller was borked but now that I hear other players having the same problem I'm not to sure. Didn't notice with my other games.

Have any of the people having this problem tried using a different controller (assuming you have more than one)? That would be my first reaction in your shoes. I'm a 360 player as well & have not run into this problem myself.

I had that problem with Oblivion when I first bought my xbox, I just exchanged it. Problem solved. Hey did any of you playing on the 360 have trouble getting your DLC achievements to register correctly?

The controlling is too sensible. I had to buy a new controller to fix this problem. Seems that the controller is the soft heart of this console. I already have three useless controllers here cause everyone of them is doing this fine thing...
