post any wallpapers you made, or if someone else made them, be sure to give them credit


here's a youtube background i made :

the sides only show about the width of the cerberus icon, everything else is extra or cut off and only shows on wider resolution monitors.

Wow... That's awesome mate! I never thought to make any YouTube backgrounds. I've only done 1 wallpaper so far, I have it saved in .psd format in case I want to change it later, but here's a snapshot of it. I'm not sure how to upload it to Photobucket without it being resized, but hopefully I'll figure it out soonish.

Thanks! I really have no idea about configuring Photobucket   In the meantime, I added Shep to the above wallpaper as I think it adds something to both the subject and composition.

Tried experimenting with some fire effects, but as you can see I kinda failed. It does have potential, but unless I get my hands on a decent fire 'brush' for Photoshop I'm kinda outta luck. I'd also like to add some wreckage to the scene to give it some more context.

Those N7 wallpapers look great,but the resolution is just way to small,can you upload a full HD hirez version,they really look great and a lot of us wouldn't mind using them if that is OK with you.



and if you are having problems uploading,just put all your hirez pics into a folder,rar it up,and upload to rapidshare.

Okay I'll do that... Thanks for the tip AND the encouragement! All three wallpapers are 1920pxx1080px (16:9 ratio to suit my monitor). I'll post when I've finished creating a RapidShare account etc.

Love the YouTube background! 
Only problem is that the max size limit for YouTube channel backgrounds is only 256K, do I think I'll have to lower the quality a bit...

The problem I'm having is that BioWare still haven't released any official Fansite Kit for ME2 yet. Normally this would include some character renders in .psd format (with layers) which are simple to edit, as they usually have a background layer, and the character in question on a seperate layer with transparency. I copy that layer and paste it into whatever wallpaper I'm using. Unfortunately, the fansite kit for ME only had 3 character renders in .psd format (Wrex, Shepard & Ashley) and the rest were a basic jpeg with no transparency. Even the Normandy was a low-res jpeg. I'm really hoping BioWare can get the team together to produce some decent renders soon. Unless they offer it for sale, though, I doubt it will ever come to much.

I can do them in 1900x1200 if you like. What would you prefer to the black strips top & bottom? I have to put something there - it's something of an OCD thing for me.

I've took lots of shots on my last playthrough and I've been messing around with them. I applied a brush-like effect and messed with the contract/color. Here's the result:



The files are in 1900x1200 but I've only got a 1680x1050 screen so I'm not sure how good they look at that size. Either way, I'm working on a few more. Here's the link to the full size screen:
