What bothers me about the romances is with Alistair and Morrigan you get the "ask something personal" > "kiss them" dialogue, but it doesn't exist for Leliana or Zev.

That ends after a certain approval level.Azure Zero wrote...

Yeah this always bothered me too. You can get it on with Leliana any time you want but it is impossible to kiss her. If that should be the case for anyone, you'd think it would be Morrigan or something.Azure Zero wrote...

But she is rather shy
Get to a certain level, and Zevran will tell you to either choose or he dumps you. Same with Leliana.

ok, question, is it possable to romance Morrigan as a female PC? I know they have the senerio in the game for then a female gets it on with her
You can? I was under impression that Morrigan was strictly boys-only kind of girl. Leliana is the one who likes both genders.

As far as I know it can only be forced with the romance script cause I havent been able to bed her without it. but the game does have a sceen for a female dwarf having sex with Morrigan and most likely the other female PC races as well. I accedently saw it when my saves accedently got deleted my first play thru and i used scripting to jump me back up to where i was and it just poped up my female dwarf haveing sex with Morrigan and then it went to where i was trying to get back to in the game, then i saw that there is a way to force her to have a romance with a female charecter and i was just wondering if it was possable to romance her normaly somenow as a female.

How would you feel if you found out that Leliana was sleeping with Alistair and Zevran behind your back? Wouldn't you be angry about it?CptPatch wrote...
Wow. All this has been so.....enlightening. Every playthrough I've done, every time I got to a certain Approval level, I've been given the line about, "If you want our relationship to develop further, you'll have to break it off with so-and-so" kind of ultimatum.
If anything, it should have been more than a "jealous speech" especially in Leliana's and Alistair's case. A fight that makes them hate you and leave you would be more appropriate than a simple "Hey, I don't care if you cheated on me behind my back, just pick me and I'll forgive you"

Personally (and therefore most probably my character's attitude), I would be of the opinion that in the most likely outcome, we were all going to die violently in the very near future. So, if any of them can get the opportunity to have a fling with anyone or everyone in the party, they should go for it! After all, if I really cared for anyone else, I would not want to deny them some last enjoyments just because of _my_ prudishness and sense of propriety.blademaster7 wrote...

At a very early age, I learned to share my toys. Being selfish or jealous is for those that are emotionally insecure.

Not everyone is the jealous type, thankfully.

Yes.
However, if Leliana told me she wanted to have a sexual or romantic relationship with Alistair or Zevran while still with me, I'd be comfortable with that.

Hmmmm, I'm not sure you can call going to Zevran at a low approval level "behind Leliana's or Alistair's back" as there is no privacy in camp; several characters will mention in either dialog or camp talk that they overheard the sex. Everyone's concern seems to be that you may care about someone else, not that you're sleeping with someone else. I wonder if Alistair asks Leliana how to woo someone if the warden is romancing both of them. I would hope not, but he probably does.

Your Hero has an opportunity for any of several Romantic relationships. However, you may NOT have more than one fully active relationship at any given time. That is, you can't make the final connection with B until you've burned the bridge and broken it off with A.
It seems that BioWare is sending a message: Love is meant to be strictly monogamous.
This strikes me as odd as BW has gone so far as to freely allow gay, homosexual, and even bi-sexual relationships. No one in the party even so much as suggests that such relationships are "unnatural". Why the prejudice against polygamy and/or polyandry?
[NOTE: I've heard that there is a slim chance of having a three-way with Zevran or Leliana with Isabela, but I've never read from anyone that actually pulled it off. Makes me wonder about having a threesome with Zevran AND Leliana in camp, since both of them are bi-sexual.]
[Also of NOTE: This situation also seems to be the case with ME2.]
So what you are saying is your wife / girlfriend can't trust you, right?

I think so too, except Leliana won't have sex until she's at 91+ love and most definitely is viewing it as an expression of love, and Alistair won't until he's at 71+ adore. And Alistair makes it very clear that he wants his first time to be with someone very special to him. But yes, you can't have two people actually care about you -- that seems to be the most important thing. If you romance both Leliana and Alistair, you'll most likely be forced to choose before having sex with either.

I agree somewhat, but the only problem I see with this is that it's too easy to accidentally flip the "romance switch."blademaster7 wrote...

I try to get all the companions I like to have high approval, but even though I don't remember ever choosing a romantic-type dialogue choice with Leliana, somehow it happened, and all of a sudden both she and Morrigan are pissed off at me. It would suck if I had to lose one because of something like that.
