actually when i first saw spoilers of normandy being destroyed by collector ship i and a few people thought it would be the batarians using that ship they found in me 1

Balak was pretty bad ass. I thought for sure there would be a little more Batarian terrorism in this one. Most I got was poisoned at the bar, lol. Balak or his followers for some DLC please. And on that note I'm calling a Batarian as a squaddie in ME3.... just cause you know thats a holy **** moment. It'll either be a Batarian who is a human sympathizer, like someone who feels guilty that his race has warred with humans and wants peace throughout the galaxy. Man that would be an oddball. OR we'd get a Batarian who somehow gets stuck with the crew and he's a real badass so you keep him around, but he's hateful and you slowly have to show him not all humans are bad.

As someone who opted to save the citizens(or were they scientists... I can't remember) I heard a news report that the Alliance was searching for him, but hadn't found him. Hopefully, either him or his legacy will make it into a DLC.

Balak died when a large hole inexplicably formed in his chest cavity. He then slowly hemorrhaged to death in an asteroid base. The hole was theorized to be consistent with a pistol round, and that he would have survived the wound if he had gotten medical treatment, but human coroners concluded he died of "Medi-gel is more useful than Batarians" syndrome.
